They are often partnering up with food trucks here too, so you can get tasty food with your drinks. Check their social media to see the truck schedule. So much seating available with many different options, some with shade/covering and some not. With plenty of games (cornhole, fooseball, etc) to keep you entertained! The day I went it was surprisingly dead for a Friday but with the amount of space they have you'd need a lot of people for it to feel busy/crowded. Although if it was busy I could see a very large drink line forming due to how drink ordering worked. If the weather is great and you want to enjoy a beverage outdoors that isn't the typically bar/brewery patio this is your spot! Great spot for large groups and/or place to meet up with friends. Also for Lone Pine fans you can enjoy their beers without going into Portland. I'm not sure how often I would return, it was a limited number of beers and I would just prefer another setting most the time. Worth checking out though!

An array of oddities indeed and some interesting art/artists. Many items in formaldehyde jars, bones and furs used in creative and Macabre. Bar inside the venue has alcohol and coffee offering. Coffee for me. After going through the whole venue we went to check out the food area also available to us but not needed. Never knew they had this cafeteria. Nice place for all types of venues whether work or personal event, check them out.

Some examples: All the countertops were greasy and most of the available cookware and dishes were greasy, stained (that elbow grease removed) and/or had food remains on them. The vent in the room we had the rehearsal dinner in had thick black dust (maybe mold?) on it and the wall of windows were dirty inside and out. I had to ask an employee to pick food out of one of the trash cans, whose bottom was covered in black mold, before I could replace the trash bag. I emailed a more detailed list to Mr. Strunk and the venue and did get a response from Alexis that said "We will have a team meeting this week to discuss what we can do better with your review and revamp our in-house check list." I hope they do. Most of my concerns would not take a lot of time, money, or elbow grease to correct if they were completed on a regular basis. It seems as if there is no list of cleaning in preparation for an event. If there is, it isn't very comprehensive and/or the person responsible did not complete it. It wasn't until after the event that we saw the review of the venue that said a couple's meal was late because the caterers spent an hour cleaning the kitchen before beginning work. I want a venue with the same standards that that caterer had. This space is very cool, but the client should spend their time enjoying the event and not cleaning.

They host dinners every Friday night. You can rent the place for only $60 for the whole day as a member. There is a billiard room upstairs with 6 pool tables and all the equipment to play. There is a card room to play bridge, poker or cribbage. The basement has a 5 lane candle pin bowling alley. No bowling shoes required and you can reset your own lane as you desire. The upstairs is an open room that we enjoyed wonderful music that was provided by our hosts. There was a huge space for all the dancing. The front entrance was setup like a lounge with comfy couches and deep soft leather chairs. Our hosts held a BBQ and they provided a the delicious food. They even brought in a bartender who provided soda beer and a variety of mixed drinks. This was a great place to mingle and relax. What an awesome club!!

It said to dress to impress for a disco, when we arrived we were greeted by a host that was there to check you off the list and make sure you paid your $120. Which covered some cocktails, cookies, fruit and finger sandwiches. The hosts stayed by the door and didn't really check to see how the party was going. There were a few streamers and balloons. No party favors or noise makers for midnight. A very small disco ball over the empty dance floor. (We thought we were early) The lights were never dimmed throughout the night so you couldn't see the disco lights. The DJ refused to play any music the guest requested for the Disco effect and got upset when asked. People complained and left by 10:30pm. The DJ was terrible and kept his head down and continued playing through the stroke of midnight with the few remaining guest counting down on their own, when he finally realized it he played some lame new year's celebration music too late. It definitely was not what they advertised at all. Sorry to say someone dropped the ball that night and it wasn't the new years ball. Maybe miscommunication or lack of planning? If parking is too much, rideshare nearby and walk in. If the food is the issue there are tons of options with multiple food trucks. There are now options with a different beer vendor in Allagash and a new area to hang out (like a pavilion) and even a stationary food station in case you don't want the food trucks. The place is kept up well and there are water refilling stations and port o potty's on the outskirts of the venue rather than at the entrance. We love this place and am glad we have this option for entertainment. Of course we will be back!

It's right on the water with great views. The food is pretty great cause it's all food trucks. They have plenty of bathrooms and they are super clean, with actually hand washing stations. Plenty of drink stations so you don't have to wait in line for that. They do Thursday and Friday on thompsons point when they don't have a concert, with free music and food trucks. Cons: The food truck lines are forever, they try their best but it's just too many people and not enough food trucks. Only a certain amount of people can bring chairs? Not sure why, so you end up leaving that and not being able to find it. PARKING, is the absolute worst and so expensive. There has to be a better way to do this and they charge so much. I know it's hard to get out of most concerts so this is a common issue but Thompsons point is by far the worst and the most expensive. Even with the parking though I'll continue to go to concerts/ other events here!
