I attended a…read morebirthday party which had an approved dj until midnight and at around 10pm the man who works this westwood post DRUNKENLY freaked out at those who were throwing the party (my friend, her sister and her mother- all extremely respectful women) they tried to keep calm and explain to him that they had paid a lot of money for the hall and dj until midnight but he continued to get aggressive and screamed in their faces to a point where they felt unsafe. It was an extremely bad situation. Please do not waste your money or time planning a party here. They take your money and say ok to all of your requests to get you there so that you have to pay the final fees. It's deplorable and I am sad that it is part of beautiful Westwood.

This organization is guilty of breaching our contract. Despite deposits on wedding invitations, parking lot, and the like, we now have to find a new venue 5 months before our wedding. The ineptitude and lack of remorse, as well as dodging our calls to make this right is incredibly unprofessional and we will not be working with this organization in Ridgewood ever again. I would not recommend this organization to schedule an event. Be wary.

While the building looks small, it has ample room inside for mingling, dancing, having a ceremony, and even enjoying a cocktail (or two). In addition, the front garden is lovely for taking pictures and there's a lower floor that's nice to lounge in. Overall, i'd recommend this place for cute and intimate gatherings. *Tip: Finding parking is difficult, but we were directed to park about a block away beside a church. There also appears to be limited street parking on neighboring streets.
