The kiddos not into galleries? No worries, there's a play area with interactive toys for all age groups. It has been a while since I've last attended one of the performance art events, but it was Shakespeare, well done, and I would go again. Sadly, I have never had a chance to do an art class so this review skips over that area completely! Don't forget the gift shop and maybe even a donation on the way out if you enjoyed yourself as the Dahl gallery is free to visit.

Tucked away under a downtown business, it's got the relaxed bohemian feel of an artist's living room. It's an art collective, a hangout space, a mini gallery, a performance space, a place to store musical instruments and art supplies, and probably whatever else the members decide it is. I really liked the vibe and if I still lived in Rapid I'd definitely participate. You can stop in for the price of a three dollar day pass or you can buy a monthly membership. Either way go check it out. Just don't tell Ed how much I liked it.

And those two beer stations had 1 PERSON working at each. 1 of the stations was a beer cart with 6 tubs & the poor girl working could not keep up, as she had to put beer in the ice from the 12 packs laying laying on the pavement. ( Ithink you get the picture) For an AFT Event, I guess I expected things to be a bit more organized, so things run smoothly. And I heard A LOT of comments which were very negative. I know this is a dirt track but.......the dust was inexcusable to say the least. Had to leave early…read morebecause one third of the track could not be seen we were also covered in dust. For a special event like the Sprint Cars I thought it would be more prep on the track. There are a lot of good examples around the country of dirt track maintenance. Maybe it's too expensive. Loved the facility but not the dust. Sorry.
