Rusk Truck in GA was the first service center that repaired the truck back in December 2021,…read moreThe reason why the truck was taken to Rush truck was a result of it losing power when driving it. I was skeptical with repairing the DPF system due to huge repair cost and I was leaning towards taking out the DPF system completely. After a long conversation with the service team in GA, they advise it's to my best interest to fix it and I was reassured rest of mind with a year of warranty on parts and Labor if the same problem occurs. It was not stated that the DPF system must fail on its own before the warranty can be acknowledged. Mind you, a system doesn't fail by it's self unless there's a reason for its failure. After the repairs was completed, we got the truck back from Rush Truck DEC 29, 2021. Due to the holiday, the truck wasn't operating until Jan 3, 2022. From that moment till early April, we reported the truck been used for 3 months and some days. Ran into the same problem of it losing power and the closest Rush dealership was Jacksonville FL. as the company driver lives in Orlando FL. Rush Truck Jacksonville had the Truck for One week when we reported same issue that the truck started losing power again. After a claimed diagnostic of the truck, they reported the truck has a bad DPF system and quoted me $7,665.11 to fix the truck, please see attached invoice. From the moment I called their attention to them quoting me exactly what was fixed back in December which is still under a year warranty as the truck was barely used for 3 months and some days. I was told they would further investigate the history of the truck and parts which is under warranty. After 2 days of research, I was told by Rush Truck Jacksonville, the DPF system is good and it appears new, that they found a piece of tape on the sensor screen restricting the air flow. The tape was removed, and all is fine. they claimed a road test was done and no signs of it losing power anymore. THIS MAKES ME QUESTION THEIR CREDITBILITY............WHY QUOTE ME $7,665.11 OUT OF THE BET claiming my DPF system was originally the problem. Until I mentioned I was under warranty then the story changed. My driver picked up the truck when I was told the truck is back to normal. Mind you, he came all the way from Orlando FL for the truck. After an hour of driving the truck from Jacksonville to Orlando the truck started losing power again. I instructed him to take the truck back to Rush Center, but they were closed at the time. We called the Rush Center in Orlando but was told they can't take the truck in until 2 weeks. Finally got the truck back to Jacksonville and I questioned them why they would give the truck back to me when it still has same problem. After weeks of back and forth they told me they ran another diagnostic with Hino and the problem is now the injector filter that's the cause of DPF failure. So, if that was the case because originally quote me for DPF system without mentioning injector was bad, the response I received from the service Manager named Chucks was, they ASSUMED that was the problem. Now you are quoting me to fix DPF system and injectors. I'm not confidence on the legitimacy of their business and the problem. All I sense, was Rush not wanting to acknowledge the warranty and looking for ways to extort their customers. I was only given a credit of $1000 to fix what I paid $9k + to fix less than four months ago. Placing on the current invoice saying the DPF system didn't fail by itself, obviously a system won't fail unless theirs a cause. IF the injector had went bad from the first time Rush Jacksonville confirmed the truck was fine, then I blame them for allowing us to pick the truck without proper checks. I disagree to pay another $10k + to fix the truck that's why I picked up the truck from them., wasted weeks of my time and lost a lot of money in business due to their dishonesty and in competencies. At least I will expect to be charged just for the injector if they claim that's bad than they are charging me for both DPF system and Injector, I was forced to put my truck for sales due to Rush. WHY SHOULD I PAY RUSH ALMOST $22,000 in 4 months to fix same issue? It's very unreasonable and unprofessional of the repair shop. All they do is extort customers.

Saw all the good reviews about this place, so I wanted to give them my business, because spending…read morethousands of dollars in repairs on a rig to the wrong shop can be even more costly. Not too sure how this place is so highly rated on here and on Google. Apparently some customers get called back. Called this place Friday morning. Immediately got sent to a voicemail mailbox that doesn't have any room to leave a message, then immediately got a text message requesting that I text. So I did. I texted the repair that I wanted done, you know to get a price, and set an appointment. 12 hours later, still no response from the shop owner or employee or whoever is running this joke of a shop. If you're not prioritizing your customers and you're not actively seeking to repair somebody's equipment, you shouldn't be in business. And I definitely would not trust the work here, seeing how they can't respond to a simple text message. If you can't do something so simple as respond to a text, whether it be a couple hours later or almost 12 hours later, then you definitely can't be trusted to handle a costly repair. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. Quick as possible. Advise, if work needed, check here. Especially for trailers (their specialty, but great with both). Waiting area was nice, simple, & clean, with restroom, TV, 2 love seats & 2 chairs, a sink, microwave, fridge, climate controlled, & coffee maker. Everyone was cool. Mrs. Dana (shop manager) is a respectable Lady.
