Phenomenal service! I have been to dozens of nails salons in California where I live and American nails is better than all of them. Whenever I'm here to visit family, I will pay them a visit. Great husband and wife duo, so love to give a family business. My nails were damaged from gel manicures for several months and he was still able to make them look nice. This was one of the best pedicures I've ever had. Twan did a wonderful job. They even used an exfoliating cream on my feet and legs and this was a regular pedicure for only $30!! Included a fabulous foot massage. Couldn't be happier with my gel manicure and my pedicure. read more

There is a reason that this nail salon doesn't have any employees.  Husband and wife team.  Based on some positive reviews and that it was near where I go to pilates, I went to this place 2 times, but after my second experience & the wife's request to give them another chance and then a third negative experience, I will not return.    For my second appt, I had requested 12:30 and the wife requested that I come in at 12:20. I said that my class gets out at 12:20 and could come there after class.  I arrived exactly at 12:29 at which time the husband yelled at me for being late.  I told him about the discussion with his wife and later she apologized for her husband yelling at me and explained to me that she wrote it down in the book as 12:20/30.  I told her that her husband should not have yelled at me and if anyone should be apologizing it should be he and not her.  She asked that I give them another chance to which I acquiesced. Several weeks later I called to make an appt and got the wife on the phone, she said that she would check her schedule and call me back and we did so for the next day at 10:30 to which I also received a confirmation text.  At 9:20 the next morning, I received a text asking me to come in at 9:30 - my reply was that's like in 10 minutes and wasn't possible.  She told me that she was trying to work with my schedule; a comment I didn't understand because working with me for my schedule would have been accommodating the confirmed appt time?!? I suggested that after these two very poor experiences that they give me a complimentary pedicure which in my opinion should have been put forth after the husband yelled at me.  She said that people make mistakes and declined my suggestion.  In my opinion, too many mistakes and if one makes mistakes consistently they should be willing to make good on those in some way.  EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and insight if you ask me. read more

I was in town and looking for a good place that's reasonably priced to get my nails done and that's exactly what I found. The place it run by TK and her husband, both are very sweet and welcoming and friendly. I came in to get a gel full set TK said she didn't do them but that her husband did. He was out and she called him and asked me if I wanted to wait and he could come to the salon and take care of me, so I waited. While I was waiting my boyfriend got a manicure and we had a great conversation with TK. Her husband arrived, I showed him the design and he got right to work. We talked and he made a few jokes, eventually my nails came out beautifully. If I'm ever back in Vero beach I will be returning to American Nails for sure. read more

Went there based on their reviews. Had a Gel Mani / Pedi. Went on Vacation 7 days they started to chip on the third day. I have never seen GEL NAILS CHIP . Went into the store upon returning. Showed the owner my nails. He right of way said no problem sit down. I suggested the powder nails. The young woman ANA did a great job. I left a Happy woman. Lets see how long they last. I was only charged a small amount. I hope it lasts at least 2 weeks or longer. read more

She was super sweet and took great care with my nails, which were super brittle and short (I had ripped off the previous gel). She did an amazing job! And they're reasonably priced. I like the people and service but I think that it's ridiculous that they are raising prices this year. I called to make an appointment and she said they raised the prices this year.
