This company is a hidden gem in the Boston area for anyone who needs to have their fingerprints done on hard cards. I previously had negative experiences with hard card fingerprinting at IdentoGo and another local firm before the pandemic began. After the pandemic started, I needed more cards completed between 2020 and 2021, but did not want to go back to the two companies I already had negative encounters with, and also place myself at risk of COVID infection at an indoor, crowded facility with long waits. During the course of the pandemic my local police precinct was not doing fingerprinting, so I did not have many options. I eventually found out about American Notary after a lot of searching, and have found them to be an outstanding customer service oriented and professional company to work with. It was much more time-efficient to have a mobile fingerprinting service come to my place of work, rather than to have to take time off. Scheduling was easy, and I had an appointment within a few days of calling. When needing more prints done again in 2021, I was also assured that the fingerprinter who would come was fully vaccinated. Girard did a total of 3 sets of cards between 2020 and 2021, and I can confirm that all of them were successfully accepted for the criminal background check. He was always on time, easy and friendly to work with, and was masked appropriately, which made me feel safe. I was also able to get a same day appointment one time in order for my wife and I to have same documents notarized. Most important: Notary came on time and was very pleasant and quick. Next most important: The scheduling process was actually quite easy because the responsiveness to Yelp messages was great. The price was the lowest among the firms that accommodate my schedule. Slight complaint: I would have appreciated slightly more communication in just one respect. I would have been reassured by a confirmation email after I paid an invoice online (about 27 hours before the appointment time). After a long search to find a notary to help with important mortgage documents in the midst of the pandemic (April 2020, I'm a bit slow to review), American Notary & Signing Services came in and saved the day! The notary was able to meet me outside my then apartment building to facilitate notarized signatures, and was properly prepared for COVID measures with masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, and even a small collapsible table to sign the documents on. This was an amazing overall experience/service. Lots of options for scheduling despite it being a last minute request. Loved the ability to schedule and pay from my phone (other services require cash). Girard came to our house and was on time, professional and incredibly friendly as we worked through all of our documents (we had a bunch).
