It was naturally very upsetting and he had a lot of emotions to deal with, especially at that young age, which is difficult. Kyoshi Herman was so kind to him and still is. He helps him get through those humps with his emotion and teaches him to channel them in a positive, productive way. Now my 5 year old twin daughters attend as well. They love it. They come home proud of their belts and about all of the moves they learn. They also learn great lessons like help mom around the house and don't wait until you're asked. Invaluable! They also have camps for days off and fun events like Nerf Wars and movie nights. Don't skip this place!

We were so proud. When our children arrived, we did exactly that. We enrolled our son when he was just 4 years old, and now at 9, the progress he has made is incredible. Over the years, he has developed strong focus, concentration, and discipline that carry over into all areas of his life. Watching his growth has been truly rewarding. We were so impressed with the program that we also enrolled our daughter at age 3 in the Saturday classes. She is now 5, in the regular program, and doing very well. Both of our children have advanced to higher belts and continue to grow in skill and confidence. This school has had a very positive impact on both of them. Grand Master Chung, the owner, brings exceptional passion and deep expertise to every aspect of Taekwondo. He is amazing with the children. The head instructor, Master Michael, is truly outstanding--one of the best instructors we have ever seen. He has an incredible ability to teach Taekwondo to anyone. He is patient, kind, and has a natural understanding of children. Beyond his mastery of Taekwondo, he excels at communication, especially with kids of all ages. This is one of the main reasons we chose to enroll our children here. All of the instructors are strong, supportive, and do an excellent job working with children. I signed up for a trial class, my son was 5 mins late and we were told to reschedule. I understand…read morethat being on time is important but the fact that they couldn't allow my son in because he was 5 minute late is absurd. My son is 3 yrs old, he was looking forward to doing this and he was turned away because he missed the first 5 mins. Meanwhile the class has a kid crying the whole time, which is more distracting then someone joining the class 5 minutes late. Blatant disregard to my travel time and effort to try this place out all because the "master" said no. I'm absolutely disgusted and want my money back for the trial. I refuse to waste my time on this place. Flexibility might be something you need to learn because people have emergencies, and real life isn't always so cut and dry as you may think.
