I asked for help on yelp to help swap out an existing fridge with a new one. Neil quoted me $90. The job took a little less than an hour. I helped them take off the doors and assisted in putting them back on once we had the fridge in place. Offered water for refreshment. When the job was done I gave him $100 because I thought they were nice and deserves an extra $10. Then he said I owe him an extra $100!! Said there was a 2 hour minimum. WTF? He never quoted a 2 hour minimum. I have his email with a quote for $90 and NOTHING more. I gave him the extra hundred but never got my $20 in change. $90 an hour at a 2 hour minimum is $180! Guess I need to do the math for them. I am a fair business man, and have no problem holding up to my end of any agreement. If I would have agreed to the 2 hour minimum, then I would have paid it without hesitation! I would not recommend this moving company. They are unethical with their pricing, or at least in their transparency! Save your email and text communications. I did if you would like to see them. Still waiting on my $20 change. After an initial mover "Castle Labor" bumped up the price from $220 to $550 the day before the move, I was in in deep sh%**. Being a single father with a toddler, I was in panic mode. Neil calmed my nerves and showed up the next day. Before any type of service, SIMPLY ask what will be the complete total, money handed over at the end of the day, that will fix a lot of issues. I provided ALL the details about the move, didn't surprise Neil with extra services, or additional bulky items that needed to be move, and there were no surprise fees. We agreed on a price, I confirmed this was the "total price" and Neil honored the price. I WOULD HIGHLY recommend American Pro Movers. Great people, very helpful, and finished the job!! read more

Neil and his crew were phenomenal to work with. They responded within minutes of my request and worked me in given only a two day notice. Not only did they show up on time they jumped right in and disconnected the trailer from the truck, repositioned it and unloaded. The crew went beyond expectations when they swept out the back of the truck and reconnected it to the trailer. Polite, courteous, personable and very reasonable fees. If you are in havasu and its a small, and i mean very small same level move, these guys would be great. However do Not hire for long distance and/or for 2nd floor moving. They charged me for their drive TO pick up the stuff an hour away and then after done with the move another hour to go home. So an extra $200. Now paying a LITTLE extra I would've understood. But all that was said when booked "we're put of havasu is that okay?" Yes cause you didn't say i paying for the TIME DRIVEN. When it came to move into the 2nd floor apartment (which i had called and said in detail every they would be moving that would be heavy and where they were moving it too) owner was hardly around do to back problems and left his employee to do everything. My new neighbors were kind enough to help and without them this would've taken all day and cost me almost $1k. I saw the movers at 9:30 and they were done at noon. I had planned on it only taking 3 hours so i had pulled out $340 and since it was done a half hour early the tip would have been more than the $40 i had planned. But he wrote me down for 8am-1pm (took off 30 mins cause they got lost) and again are charging me an extra $100 after the job was done, that my neighbors did 85+% of the work, so i owed them $450. They had to follow me to my bank and i gave them $120. He grabbed it and hurried away but not before saying "I disclosed that we were from havasu and i have to pay him to drive" and that is not the case. He also said "got some nice neighbors they saved you a few hundred bucks" They were very nice but total rip offs. They need to take long distance out of their brand. read more

I've just put several days with Neil and Chris from American Pro movers and I must say that I could not be happier, they worked efficiently and professionally. They packed up our larger home and will deliver it to the newer, smaller home. We have lived in our home for 21 years and I did not realize how much we accumulated and how much we should have thrown out or given away.
