I signed up for my BLS/PALs here. I did the online portion at home prior to attending. I used…read moregoogle to map the location by using just the address provided. Well, I should have known it was off because I ended up in a dead end near old warehouses and what seemed like a junk yard. I tried looking up the address again to map myself and it still lead me to the same junk yard area. It was not until I typed in "Safety Training Seminars" in google maps that it lead me somewhere else. It was 15 minutes from where I was at the time. I ended up arriving about 20 minutes late because of this address issues... The good thing is, I had my BLS and PALS back to back so it helped relax my mind about the time frame that I had. Upon arriving, it was easier to find most of the doors you can see from the parking lot. I opened the door and there you see, 2 stations right when you walk in and another station behind this small door. Overall, the place was quite small, though clean. I'd come back again when I have to renew my certs again. But definitely be mindful of the address when trying to find the place!

The CPR instructor picked on me the entire class for no apparent reason. I felt bullied, embarrassed, and humiliated. Not only was the experience uncalled for, it was very unprofessional. No one from the company responded to my previous post, nor my telephone call. Needless to say, I would not recommend Safety Training Seminars for your BLS needs.

A group 13 pet care professionals booked a pet first-aid class for 4/29/18. Instructor arrived…read moreover an hour late and ill-prepared. He seemed extremely unprofessional, saying that he had not taught one of these classes for over a year. He had no idea that he was teaching pet care professionals, seeming to be under the impression that we were individual pet owners, asking us what pets we owned. He was unable to answer our questions and we ended up talking amongst ourselves for much of the time. He even left the room several times to talk on his cell phone. We were given zero hands-on practice, there was only one booklet to pass around, no writing instruments or note pads, the video was constantly malfunctioning and we never did see the whole thing through to the end. It would have made more sense for us to just purchase the video as all the instructor did was repeat what we had just watched. We were given no certificates of completion and cpr-etc refuse to return phone calls or respond to emails. It was so bad we have asked for a refund but are unable to get any response. I had invited my staff to attend this class but now I'm so thankful they were unable to make it, and was saved this embarrassment. I have a very busy schedule and had turned down jobs to attend this class, which was a total waste of time and a very disappointing experience.

It won't be a waste of your time. Drop off what is nice but not needed so that someone who really needs it can have it! Note the specific open hours and donations accepted times on their website. Tip re. Dropping off items: Donations are received at the rear of the building, down the immediately adjacent driveway. Back down it if you can. It's difficult to turn a car around at the bottom!

Marin is the Mecca if you are either an ordinary shopper or a reseller in the high-end resale market this is a fabulous cause as well. They dress people who are looking for a new start and help them get professional clothes to go to interviews and such. The donations for the store come from very nice and wealthy donors in San Francisco and other areas of Marin County. The prices here are amazing. I mostly shop for myself but occasionally find something well enough price that I could resell it. They have a five dollar rack where they put everything that hasn't sold in two months. I found some amazing things on that rack today. I also bought myself some lovely things spent more than five dollars of course but not anywhere near the actual value of these designer pieces if you are anywhere near this place, you must stop by and support this wonderful cause.
