Well, I should have known it was off because I ended up in a dead end near old warehouses and what seemed like a junk yard. I tried looking up the address again to map myself and it still lead me to the same junk yard area. It was not until I typed in "Safety Training Seminars" in google maps that it lead me somewhere else. It was 15 minutes from where I was at the time. I ended up arriving about 20 minutes late because of this address issues... The good thing is, I had my BLS and PALS back to back so it helped relax my mind about the time frame that I had. Upon arriving, it was easier to find most of the doors you can see from the parking lot. I opened the door and there you see, 2 stations right when you walk in and another station behind this small door. Overall, the place was quite small, though clean. I'd come back again when I have to renew my certs again. But definitely be mindful of the address when trying to find the place!

The CPR instructor picked on me the entire class for no apparent reason. I felt bullied, embarrassed, and humiliated. Not only was the experience uncalled for, it was very unprofessional. No one from the company responded to my previous post, nor my telephone call. Needless to say, I would not recommend Safety Training Seminars for your BLS needs.

Red Cross is a wonderful organization that helps many people and like them I decided I wanted to give a hand myself. Recently I contacted Sharon to try finish the steps of becoming a Licensed Training provider for the Red Cross. After submitting the required application and other documents I was informed by Sharon via email that submitting the application is last step needed to process my application. Very confused because I already sent the application and also the same email stated the application was received I sent Sharon an email asking for verification on what additional documents are needed.. After waiting a few days and not hearing back from Sharon I gave her a call and left a message. Sharon returned my call very promptly and asked if I had any questions. I stated to Sharon that I was confused on what additional information is need to process my LTP application. Sharon stated she sent me the required information in an email. I checked my email while over the phone to try to retrieve the email in question but I was unlucky in recovering the email. I asked Sharon if she could resend the email and she refused to send it in the beginning because she already sent it because it showed sent to my email address in her out box. Again I checked both email addresses that Sharon said she had on file but was unsuccessful in retrieving the email . I asked her if she could try to resend while we are on the phone ans Sharon informed me she already resent while I was searching through my email. Therefore I checked both email for the third time refreshing my screen and was unsuccessful once more. I figured something was wrong with my email so I asked Sharon if I could come to the office and pick up the documents of the requirement documents needed to submit for processing. Sharon angrily expressed she hardly visits that office and there are no staff there because the office is rarely used, I explained to Sharon I am willing to me her anywhere to pick up the documents with the requirements listed. She begin to shout over the phone telling me she is not driving to Oakland to provide me with the documents requesting additional information. I explained in a calm tone I reside in Richmond which is less than a 7 minutes from San Rafael and again I don't mind meeting at a starbucks or other business to retrieve the letter with the additional requirements so I can provide everything needed so my application can be processed. Sharon begin to SHOUT " I WILL NOT LET YOU COME TO MY HOUSE , I DO NOT ALLOW STRANGERS TO KNOW WHERE i LIVE." I ended the conversation after hearing her shout at me with with thank you for your time. Can't believe Sharon did not display any kind of customer service skills when trying to resolve a simple problem of providing the list of the required documents needed from me to process my application. If I didn't already pay $500 dollars to become Red Cross Instructor training and sat through several hours of training I would pursue becoming an instructor for another organization like AHA.

Hey Everyone!!!! OMG…read more- so today I had to re-exam to renew my CNA license. Which was a bummer, because I did not know how to obtain the correct CEU's. I was so nervous, because I haven't took this state exam in 2 years, and I did not know if it was going to be with others, a large size class or anything... just going in blind. I remember when I had took my exam 2 years ago for the first time, I was with my classmates. However, I got here very early. I was the first to arrive. Later, I was greeted and welcomed by a beautiful nice woman name Mrs. Drusilla. She opened up at Vasco Career College, and she then opened the for for me and told me to come inside to have a seat. I was so nervous you guys, and she was very nice it sort of soothed my demeanor. I then checked in with her to begin my written exam first, I explained to her how nervous I was and this was for my renewal. She literally turned to me and looked in my eyes, and stated, " you will be fine ". I honestly felt like this was a sign from god. I then took my exam, in a very quiet room, she went over everything for me in full detail. The rooms were spacious, clean and organized. After, it was time to take my skills exam. Again, y'all, very nervous and I sat in another room, (room C ), while another student finished their skills exams. Once, this student was close to finished, I was asked to be the patient for them. I was introduced to my Proctor, she was so sweet and pleasant. Her name was Mrs. Bella, she reminded me of a sweet family member you just hug when you see them. After, I helped the other student, it was my turn, my pulse was going a 1000x per sec. She told me to calm down, again, nice and pleasant. I finished and felt so good about my outcome with taking both my exams here just due to their personalities and how nice they were. This helped me in ways they will never know I needed, just them being kind. I have not received my results yet, or do not know if I passed, but I wanted to share with everyone a great place to come take you exams and also.... * As I was leaving, Mrs. Drusilla heard me state I was renewing my CNA license and she informed me on next time, what to do in order to receive my continuing education credits, to qualify for approval from California Department of Health. THEY HAVE A WEBSITE, www.cnabase.com ONLINE, and they offer the in person CEU's in person at their school. You guys I could have cried right there. Renewing my license was the hardest thing ever for me, and I felt like it should have not been. I asked everyone and no one could give me the correct information on where to go or how to obtain your continuing education credits. So, I want to share with everyone so they do not go through what I went through, the panic, stress, and anxiety on having to take the state exam over.... you can take these CEU's with them!!! DON'T WALK, RUN TO THEIR CAMPUS.. THEY OFFER SEVERAL OTHER CLASSES AS WELL, CHECK THEM OUT!!!!

I took the evening class because that's the only way I was able to attend class while juggling with work and being a mom. My instructor Bianca was amazing! She guided me and encourage me to do my best especially when I was close to taking my NHA exam. Bianca provided all the resources that I needed when it comes to my assignments, labs, and my exam. After graduating from the program, I was assigned to a clinic for my externship and my instructor also have been keeping in touch with me while I was in my externship. I couldn't have done all of this if it wasn't for my instructor and Mrs. Dru who also went above and beyond, most especially she was so happy for me that I was able to complete my externship. I highly recommend enrolling in Vasco Career College for anyone who is starting out in the medical field.

She answered my questions and taught me things I hadn't learned in other safety courses I have taken thru other companies. The facility was very accommodating but the directions to the place are intimidating. While driving down one lane roads in the fog it is likely you will feel like you've been given the wrong info. Enjoy the country view and don't expect any signs just follow your phones navigation. It's a long 8 hour but well worth it. Thank you Sarah and Priscilla.
