Part of Brownsville's charm is that it feels like a lovely part of Mexico without leaving the US. This taxi gives you the full experience. I called for a taxi to return home and the pick up point was 2 blocks away from the drop off point. The taxi drove by but I chased it down. The return trip was $25. From Alton Gloor she drove almost to International Bridge (I live close to Valley Baptist) and I don't know where we went from there. Then she drove past my house, way up the street. When she missed the first exit I told her, when she missed my house I told her. Then she asked for her fare I told her how much the outbound fare had been. The she called the cops, which was fine by me.
