Please do not blame the Surf Shuttle for the miscommunication between you and your team leader. The Surf Shuttle was scheduled to take 3 people to BRO at 3:45 AM for their 5:35 AM flight. 6 of your team members showed up, as a few had changed their flights and did not notify anyone as requested. Mark, you were scheduled for the 8 AM shuttle for your 10:37 departure. You changed your flight the day before and did not let Jennifer know, nor did you call or text us with this change. It would have been easy for us to drive the larger van and accommodate 7 people, but we were in the dark on this. Again, we are sorry for your stress and money out of pocket. SPI Surf Shuttle is a godsend. Every summer for the past decade I have visited South Padre Island, as it is my sanctuary. Each time I have used various shuttle services that have come and gone, so trust me when I say SPI Surf Shuttle stands out from the rest. That one bad review, come on lady, it's freakin' Spring Break, what do you expect, how far removed from reality can you be. Also, how can a taxi take a "different route" than the causeway. It's the ONLY way on to the island from the mainland. Did your taxi driver have an amphibious vehicle?? Sounds "fishy" to me. SPI Surf Shuttle is dependable, the drivers are knowledgeable, trustworthy, more affordable than taxis (look it up), and truly the most human customer service experience I've come across in all my years of coming to la isla bonita. I had a great experience with Surf Shuttle. Kurt picked me up at the airport and was waiting for me. He talked with me when I wanted to and didn't when I was content to be on my phone. I left my glasses in the van. He dropped them off at the office and they got them to me within the hour even bringing them to me where I was having lunch. Damion took me back to the airport and it was a lovely ride. The most important thing to me was booking was easy. They texted confirmation and communicated by text. So easy and convenient. read more

Was my first time using SPI Surf Shuttle and had a great experience. Jason was on time, waiting for me at the airport. There was one other passenger, van was comfortable, nice drive. Jason was friendly and offered suggestions & recommendations on things to do. My return trip was with Damien. He also was on time picking me up at my hotel. I was the only passenger. Damien was friendly and I enjoyed talking to him throughout the ride. Would definitely use SPI Surf Shuttle again! read more

this shuttle was the perfect solution to avoiding the expensive rental car prices. they were excellent with communication leading up to arrival and also the morning of departure. we also had some problems with airline delays and they were able to accommodate the change in time. the shuttle itself is comfortable and roomy and it is door to door service. Excellent service. I made a reservation from SPI to the Brownsville Airport the early morning of our ride and a couple of hours later I added two more people plus luggage. Jason (owner) was responsive and accommodated us, no hassle at all. The driver arrived right on time and the Mercedes Sprinter van was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of space for six people and luggage. read more

Everything was great! We had a large group in the SPI area for several days and used SPI Surf Shuttle for several trips off the resort. The weather did not cooperate and we were required to changed our plans on numerous occasions. The SPI team was so understanding and accommodating.
