Despite…read moreknowing about it since I moved back into town 5 years ago, we just never quite got around to actually going. My mom and grandmother were in town for my birthday and it was finally the right opportunity for a celebratory meal at Edwins. We dined in the brasserie, where the menu is classic French bistro cuisine and the service is accurate and attentive. Across our party of four, we sampled from across the menu: the shrimp cocktail, soup du jour (potato leek), and mixed green salad were soon followed by steak frites, roasted salmon, and shrimp scampi. Everything we had was well-executed and flavorful. We followed with dessert, splitting a creme brulee and bananas foster across the table. To accompany the meal, each of us got a glass of wine or cocktail. I was pleased to see the retro revival cocktails - you don't see a Japanese Slipper on too many menus, and I found it well balanced and refreshing. What a wonderful experience, and serving a wonderful mission.

We had a reservation so were seated immediately. I got the chicken paillard and creme brulee. The food was a good portion and taste overall. I appreciate our serving giving me insight to the menu prior to me ordering. We learned more about the organization and businesses. I also saw the cigar bar which was nice. I would love to come back when in town.

She lead the class with clear, fluid control...even with her back injury, she strained some muscles and could barely move. Being the newbie in class full of regulars can be a little uncomfortable, but not at this studio. I was allowed to borrow a mat (from out of town) and felt nothing but encouragement in a inviting space. I especially loved the affirmations Tammy used in her instruction and heard a few songs I am trying to download onto my ipod. Overall this was a great studio that I would love to utilize again when I am in the area.

I started practicing yoga in 2006 at Evolution with their once a week Yoga 101 class. Sandy, the owner of the studio taught the class while two other instructors were there for support. The assistant instructors walked the room, made adjustments, and suggested modifications for each student. I was hooked. Once I completed my 101 class, I was buying monthly unlimited passes and hitting the studio five to six times a week. Every instructor was AMAZING. I was practicing a diverse range of classes, including: Sculpting Yoga, Bikram, and Vinyasa Flow. The studio was remarkable to say the very least and I miss it and the instructors. I'll continue my search here in the bay area to find something close, but the bar is set high.

You usually need expensive tools and skills that you might not have. ThinkBox is the place to go to solve this problem. It was opened in its current location in November, 2015. It is free to the public to use, except you need to pay for raw materials which you usually have to bring. There are multiple large bed laser cutters (24" x 36" and 36" x 48" bed size) that communicate with about 16 computer terminals. The terminals are connected to the internet, contain common design software, and are free to use. There are multiple 3D printers, both hobby and professional grade. You need to pay for material used. There is an area to allow you to build electronics, refine photos and create vinyl graphics. Also there are machine shops for metal and wood. There are basic safety rules that you will be instructed in and need to follow - no long sleeve shirts is a big one. For some tools you will need to pass a safety test in order to be able to use them. There is also an array of other tools that you can use. There are conference rooms for groups that you can use and reserve in advance. This is an amazing community resource for northeast Ohio. Check out their website,http://thinkbox.case.edu/, for additional details.
