In this day of automated communications, I can easily go into the store to discuss my plans and talk to someone face to face, and show my products. I consulted 2 other resources, but decided on LL for quality, availability, and costs. After purchasing the flooring next came the installation scheduling. Flooring delivery and installation communication was not so smooth. I was expecting a call a day before delivery to advise what time driver would arrive; Only received the call after 3 calls to LL office; the after 3 days of having flooring in my house, I didn't get a installation date until after several calls to LL and the installation company. Over the weekend (4-1 & 4-2) ins began. Guys were professional and addressed any questions/concerns I had. Did a great job, however before signing off on the installation, make sure you go around the areas to confirm all molding was installed and any appliance or other items with removal parts that we removed to install floor are replaces; the dishwasher face plate framing the bottom of the dishwasher was not replaced, and I didn't notice for 2 days. I so the piece as I was sweeping up but did not know where it came from. other than that, great job, love the flooring!

Don't look elsewhere for someone to paint your house, inside or out. Ten years ago I hired Calhoun Painting Company to paint the outside of my house. The crew arrived early in the morning, as they said they would. They worked hard all day, for four days. They cleaned up after themselves every single day; not a single water hose was left unrolled. At that time the company was run by John's dad, Mark. I posted a review then saying that I would hire Mark Calhoun and his crew again in a heartbeat. Now John runs the business. In the Spring 2026, I hired Calhoun Painting Company to paint the outside of my house. Just as before, they arrived early, worked hard in 100+ degree weather, and did a spectacular job! Most recently, I hired them again, this Summer 2026, to remove all of my popcorn ceilings (the entire house). Needless to say, it was a quite a job. It was supposed to take about a week, but ended up taking three. John, Eric, and Tyler ran into problem after problem, but John didn't budge from his original quote. Every day they showed up at the crack of dawn, taped the entire house with plastic, and worked extremely hard. They were meticulous about keeping the house as clean as possible (kinda hard to do when it comes to popcorn removal). Tyler and his wife even had a baby girl, Sunny, during the process (so Eric and/or John had to work without him for several days). Today they completed the job. When I arrived at my house, all the furniture was back in its place, the house was mopped, dusted, and the ceilings looked fantabulous!!!! These guys are honest, dependable, friendly, conscientious, talented--true professionals. They know what they're doing and they do it with style and grace. Calhoun Painting Company, John Calhoun, Eric, and Tyler are the best and I wanted everyone to know.
