I made an appointment for my daughter for glasses and contacts. About 20 minutes prior to her appointment, I was notified that the doctor did not show up and we would need to reschedule. It was highly unprofessional to cancel as late as they did, but I understand life happens and was willing to give them another chance. I was (unknowingly) rescheduled for a day that a doctor is only available virtually, which meant my daughter wouldn't be able to get contacts since it's her first time for those. Had they verified what kind of appointment was needed, this could have been avoided. I was told to reschedule for another day and when I told the receptionist that I was out of town that day, she shrugged her shoulders and said that's when the dr is in. They also told me my insurance was not accepted, but when I verified through my insurance, I was told that establishment DID accept my insurance! This business does not value the customer, which is made clear by the apathetic attitude and unwillingness to meet the minimum standard. read more

I was getting an eye exam and the lady that was doing my exam was very rude and acted annoye.

Avoid Maria! I have been coming here for years but had an interaction today that was not pleasing with one of the employees Maria. The exam was fine and the people at the front were fine which is why I gave an extra star, but when I went in to try out a pair of contacts I've never worn I had questions. So I asked the front counter person who turned me over to Maria. Maria was sitting in the middle of the store opening new products coming in. She was making all kinds of noise, popping bags for shipping and was being very obnoxious. She could have simply used a knife or something to let the air out. I asked Maria how these new contacts work and she said if you don't like them you can come back, in a very monotone unwelcoming voice. I asked a follow up question and you could tell she was annoyed and again responded short without answering my questions. She made me feel very unwelcomed which is not my usual feeling when I'm there. If you don't like your job Maria get a new one. Everyone else that worked here I interacted with appreciated our business. Manager, have a talk with Maria or get rid of her. The manager was out of town so that may have had so thing to do with it. But if I were the manager I would definitely place Maria in a different position away from customers if she is just that way, or send her on the way. read more

Everyone in this office has been in a grouchy unhappy mood every time I have been in there. I have been in there 6 times including my exam and the 2 fittings each for my glasses. The bifocals were measured wrong for both pairs of glasses and both pairs had to be sent back. Thus the 6 trips. I tried to joke and smile with the ladies and was met with hateful or deadpan faces. I did not complain about having to send the glasses back even though it was their "professionals" that measured the glasses. I guess they are just hateful to the customers so they won't complain? I don't know but I'm not going back. I thought I could save some money but I don't think it saved me much and the attitude of the workers there was definitely NOT worth it. Well for lack of a better term.."They Suck"! and that is being very nice. The location that I gave my money to anyway. I'm not so much angry, I feel stupid having loaded my entire immediate family up and gone to their location in Longview,TX. My wife and I and my two sons.We all need glasses. There were some things that happened money wise that seemed a little fishy and then there were some things that didn't happen money wise that should have , also fishy. Anyway we wound up out the door for $1000.00 and change. Still not bad I guess but nothing near advertised savings. Other issues down the road on warranties etc....and other things. If you're looking for a smooth transaction and a company standing behind their products and services, Drive on by. Also for fear of being accused of hiding behind the internet. My name is Jeff Snow. I recently got new glasses from America's Best.  My prescription did not change from the previous eye glasses I purchased from America's Best.  With my new eye glasses I am able to see but it is difficult to read emails on my phone and iPad.  It is also difficult to read a book.  I have gone back twice to have the issue resolve.  Each time it seems to get better but the next day I still experience the same issue.  When I put on my old glasses it is much much clearer and I can see as well as read.  The staff is really nice and helpful.  I am not sure how to proceed in resolving this issue.  I just want my new glasses to be clear like my old eye glasses.  By the end of the day my eyes tired and irritated. ~ Posted on 09/27/2021 I went back one more time for an adjustment. It seemed to be better in the store, but tonight I am experiencing the same issue. I feel like the staff think I am a little crazy. When I put on my old eye glasses, my vision if much more clearer, crisp and the words are much more focused. I don't have to hold what I am reading in an awkward position to read or make the font really really big to see. I don't think I will go back for my next pair of eye glasses. read more

Rude employees who don't care. Glasses were poorly made, prescription was wrong on both pairs. Was offered $4.95 as a return for $170 of glasses. When I objected they said $50. Will not ever buy from them again. Crap product. read more

If I could give them no stars, then that would be a much better choice. As with most places, the appointments are not booked with consideration of the customer. When you first walk in someone may OR may not greet you as they all look so busy, but it feels staged as it happens multiple times while on site. The person who finally greets you will provide you with needed information and then take you to a waiting area behind a partition that hides about 10 people seemingly booked at your same appointment time. All of the customers were sitting there wondering when they will be seen by the doctor and NOT informed that there is first a pre-test with the slowest, rudest, social inept person on the planet. She never made clear what your response needed to be as she attempted to pre-test you. One of the workers in the front had to be asked to find out when the pre-tester would actually advance her list to test individuals in the waiting area. I won't even include details about the doctor. All I will say is that he was very kind...actually the only kind person, but still lacked customer service skills, in the building. The selection of the glasses was HORRID!!! I mean deplorable and overpriced even though they were offering them at 2 for $69...they were more like $10 frames! I will NOT be returning NOR recommending this place to ANYONE!!! read more
