My wife called here Wednesday and made reservations for the coming Saturday. We went through…read morehotels.com to reserve this. We are playing softball all day Saturday and are on a tight schedule. At first we reserved a Friday night too, but cancelled that due to the softball schedule. My wife called the hotel first to see if we can cancel Friday's stay and keep Saturday and they said to call hotels.com, so we did and the hotels.com was a struggle and a hassle, but we got them to call the hotel and settle. We even doubled check to see if they done what we asked and the front desk confirmed it. I even heard it she had it on speaker. So we get to the hotel and ready to check in. The front desk person was trying to find our name and couldn't. They then get the manager and he comes out telling us that hotels.com didn't even contact them. Which ok fair, but I heard your front desk person (the same one that's standing in front of us) say the changes had been confirmed for our Saturday stay and that they remember doing it. The manager tells the front desk person that no you didn't do that and that he took the call and the reason our room wasn't reserved was cause our card got declined. BULLSHIT! We didn't even put a card on file because it gave us the option to pay there! Poor/terrible customer service from the manager. I wish I could go lower in stars for the way they handled this.

We showed up on a Saturday evening around 6, and I got checked in and made my way to my room. When I opened the door I was so grossed out to see that the room hadn't been cleaned at all. The bed was a mess and the bathroom was empty of all supplies. I went to the front desk and asked for a new room and they ran to check on one where a lady had checked out early. The front desk woman said it was clean but I honestly think she just made the bed and dumped the trash. There were hairs all over the pillows and in the sheets, there were leaves and debris in the carpet, and the night stands were sticky. I had to ask for a change of sheets to make my own bed at night. My personal favorite moment was discovering on the wall what appears to be chest hairs stuck in the wall texture next to a handprint of God only knows what substance next to the bathroom door. Someone must have had a disgustingly passionate encounter on that wall. I would not recommend anyone stay here. Ever. On the bright side, the overnight desk lady was very nice and they had decent waffles in the morning.

The room is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Super clean, like new and great bedding and tv. The owner/manager was very friendly and efficient. He quickly personally delivered a bucket of ice to my room. The place reflects an obvious pride of ownership. I would had liked a bottle of water in the room. I would recommend staying here in the future.

There's only one thing that I do want to say, that I did not like, only one, that was the white chairs on the pool deck! Please do not sit on them because it looks like you'll catch something, like a venereal disease. overall the place I love so let's start and go through everything! First, make sure you bring quarters because you can't use your credit card on any of the vending machines, laundry, or laundry machines so bring lots of quarters. Second, don't worry about breakfast because you will get a very large breakfast and it was very good there is plenty for everyone. Third, you get a choice of poolside or not. We chose poolside and it was awesome! Guys I'm letting you know again my videos were longer than 30 seconds so I only uploaded 30 seconds of my videos. I do recommend staying here with your family because it has everything and remember to bring your quarters! Also, you're around lots of restaurants right next door there's a Little Caesars pizza, McDonald's, Aldi's, Walmart, Starbucks, Braun's, and MANY MORE! Bathrooms lack nice feel. Bugs in the rooms (mostly dead ones), clientele was not the best. Location was good. Close to food and a Walmart. If traveling this is nice. Lady who checked us in was great... staff after that... not so much. Breakfast was free. Eggs were ok (scrambled) bacon over cooked, sausage burned but like I said it was free. Will not be staying here next time through.
