The nightmare started at check-in. I always use the pre-check-in feature to get my mobile key and head straight to my room. When I arrived, the manager on duty actually tried to argue with me, claiming that using the mobile key process was "illegal." After that absurd power trip, they made me wait forever for a room. Despite my request for a high floor near the elevator, they stuck me on the first floor. Then came the key fiasco. The physical key didn't work. The mobile key didn't work. I hiked back to the desk, the manager made a new key, and--shocker--that one didn't work either. His excuse? He told me the mobile key takes "10 minutes" to activate. I stay at Marriotts constantly; that is a blatant lie and a pathetic attempt to cover for their broken system. The property itself is a total letdown. It looks drab and dated for a relatively new hotel, and they don't even offer EV chargers. I usually choose this brand for the consistent quality, but this specific location is absolute garbage. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else.

Lots of options for casual sit-down or grab-and-go meals. And if I need groceries, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are close by too. Plenty of parking spaces in the shared lot with the Residence Inn. Their complimentary breakfast is incredibly convenient--perfect for grabbing a quick meal before heading out for the workday. Rooms are clean and spacious with a couch and desk if you want to get some work done in your room.

I liked the makeup remover wipes and Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion that were in the bathroom. This place was a comfortable stay while on a business trip. I liked how there were also two dining options within walking distance of the hotel, too. The hotel was under construction when I visited on more than one visit, and I've stayed in both the newly renovated and also the older style rooms, and both were fine. Staff at the front desk was really friendly.

The bed was pretty standard for Marriott, which is good, but even at Marriotts, I get a lot of super flimsy pillows which can ruin a night's sleep. ** YMCA They don't have a fitness center on premise, but across the street is a YMCA. It's free for Marriott Rewards members, and $5 for anyone else. It takes 2 minutes to sign up for Marriott Rewards, so you should just do it. I didn't get the chance to go, but they have a mini waterpark for kids it looked like, and I'm sure it's about as good or better than a Bally's inside. I actually wouldn't mind the small inconvenience of walking across the street (call it a warmup) as long as they have real equipment and there's not a line for each machine/weight. CONS ** 2nd Floor Hallway Smells Bad It smells like somebody (or some people) ate a bunch of food, drank a ton of liquor, threw up in the hallway, and management used some kind of cleaner to clean it, maybe a month ago. It smells terrible, but it's not so strong that you can pinpoint it right away and start heaving. Well, I guess if you're really sensitive, it might be bad. At least the room smells clean! ** Ice & Vending Machines Only on 1st Floor Sucks if you're on the 2nd. First World Problems, but yes, you have to take the elevator (or stairs) to the first floor. Cash only. ** TV is not HD It's an HD TV, and the remote says Comcast, but not only is the programming not HD, a lot of the channels have black bars on the top and bottom (letterboxing). The weird thing is, it's already a widescreen TV. ** Alarm Clock is Incredibly Faint Probably just a broken alarm clock in my room, but still, you can hardly even hear the alarm clock when you're an inch from the speaker. Waking me up is no easy task, and this alarm clock ** No Easy Desk Outlets Ok, if you're going to have a desk, chances are, in this day and age, that someone will have something electrical on top of it. You'd expect them to need power, so why is the outlet under the desk where you have to crawl to get to? This must have been the first hotel I've stayed at in a long time that didn't have an outlet on the top of the desk.

That should be a Negative 1 rating. I drove from Missouri to this disaster of a business, based on…read morethe listing and pictures on the priceline app. It rated the Quality in at 2.5 stars. I didn't have any issues checking in, the issues came when I got to my room. First off, I noticed a very musty smell and could hear the traffic outside, I realized then the window was open, the screen was damaged and when I tried to close the window it was off the track, and the clasp was broken. The bed was higher at the head and lower at the foot, I also could see a piece of the metal frame sticking out about 4 inches from the bed. The lamp next to the bed was broken and the shade was dirty, broken and hanging to the side. There were picture hangers on the wall above the bed, but the pictures were laying next to a dresser of sorts on the floor. The furniture most likely was picked up next to the trash after a rain, broken edges, hinges and stains.... So, I just had to look at the bathroom. The first thing I saw was two small dingy, yellow looking towels that you could tell were one time white. The kleenex dispenser was rusted out around the edges with nothing inside. The hair dryer had a layer of dust and grime and there is writting on the wall with marker... I returned to the front desk and told the desk clerk, I was not staying and requested my money back on my credit card. I was told that I checked in after 4 pm, so I would be charged for the evening. Even though you can't check in until 3pm. I pointed out the sign behind the desk that stated something in regards to if your not completely satisfied with something they would make it right. I also requested to speak with the manager and was told he's not here at the moment. I asked if there was a number I could call. I was given a number with the name Jim 9524701111, but you guessed it, Jim doesn't answer his phone, or return calls because I left him a message. The only thing missing from this room was the chalk body outline, I can put up with a lot, but the overwhelming grunge of this dump was too much. No one should be allowed to stay in a place like this.
