This is a nice place to stay for a couple nights! We were here for an extended stay while selling out house and moving out of state so the rooms were a bit small for our needs and it felt like a lot of wasted space. It's conveniently located in the Maple Grove shopping district with easy access to main roads and the interstate. Everything is clean and tidy. Staff is friendly and helpful. The bistro in the lobby is overpriced, but that's standard for most hotels. read more

Stayed here for business and this was a great location. So many food & shopping options nearby (several in walking distance). Front desk staff was friendly and the rooms were comfortable. My only concern was with the cleanliness in my room. While it was fine overall, there was hair in the shower and areas that needed to be dusted. This was not a complete dealbreaker, but I think housekeeping could do a better job with detailed cleaning. There are grab & go food options on the lobby as well as a bar. I did not patronize either, so I cannot provide any feedback. Worth noting is the awesome tv. It was large, 55-60 inches. It offered standard television as well as streaming options (you provide your login). It was easy to sign on and watch my personal favorites. A note on the TV lets you know that your credentials will be removed upon checkout, and you also have the option to manually signing yourself out. I've stayed over 56 nights this year as a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, and this was by far the most disappointing experience I've had. I arrived at 4:13 PM--just 13 minutes past my late checkout--to retrieve my belongings, only to find that my equipment had been tampered with and my things were already bagged up. When I spoke to Elena Atwood and Justin Gault at the front desk, I was met with a condescending and dismissive attitude rather than professionalism or empathy. I was told the room had already been "fully cleaned"--bathroom bleached, bed made, and vacuumed--all within those 13 minutes. Either the cleaning was rushed to an unsanitary degree, or they began clearing my belongings before checkout time, both of which are unacceptable. Because of this, I now have to reorganize and inspect my personal items before catching a flight for an important presentation--something that should never happen to a paying guest. I asked why didn't you call me and she said with a smirk on her face that she didn't have time. Rotten ! As someone who works in guest service and hospitality, I'm shocked by the lack of care, honesty, and respect shown here. I cannot recommend this property to anyone who values professionalism or trust when traveling. read more

Easy, clean, no frills hotel. Price per night is very high for the area. Stayed here for 2 nights on a recent business trip and it was a standard courtyard experience. Parking was super difficult if you arrive late with a car. The room is reasonably clean, beds are reasonably comfortable, the bathrooms are well stocked with towels. The fitness room is got newer equipment and everything functions well. Several mid level chain restaurants in the area that are waking distance. Not anything this Cali girl would eat though. Stayed here for a wedding in August of 2022. Beds were comfortable, Big rooms, big shower, indoor pool, big outdoor patio to drink outside at night. Nice lobby size also to work/meet/whatever. Also the area has alot to offer food. Chick Fil A, Dave and Busters, TGI Fridays. Friendly staff even though they might of been very short staffed, but ran very smoothly. Hard to get Ubers/Lyfts in this area sometimes though. I enjoyed the stay! read more

Five stars might be a bit much but this Courtyard gets massive points for its location. It's perfect for business travelers. Those that are familiar with the area know that unless you are staying in the downtown area there is usually nothing around the hotels in the adjacent neighborhoods. It will usually just be a hotel and then nothing in a 15 min radius... and when it's freezing cold you don't feel like driving anywhere so you end up just eating at the hotel bar. This courtyard is right next to the fountain shops and the arbor lake shops. Plenty of restaurants, retail shops, a whole foods and even a Costco. If you travel a lot for work you get sick of eating out all the time so grabbing some healthier options at the whole foods is a pretty awesome option. My opinion of this hotel has changed tremendously! After having to switch from the other Marriott due to cleanliness issues, this place is a breath of fresh air! The rooms are clean and the rooms are very comfortable! Also having the shopping center across the street with lots of restaurants and stores is a huge plus! The cafe in the hotel has a great staff and they go the extra mile to make your breakfast and coffee just right! Overall I am a fan of this hotel and its staff! read more

My husband booked a surprise stay here for our anniversary. We live close by. He travels so he has Marriott rewards so he got us a large suit with jacuzzi. The room was very updated and modern which is our style. We changed and went to dinner. When we got back we had a message saying they have something for us and we're bringing it up. They brought chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. The gesture was very nice. The room had a nice large patio. Very nice hotel. Thank you! read more

I've been coming to MSP (Maple Grove) for almost three years now and have stayed exclusively at this Courtyard. As a Marriott 'lifer' I can tell you that this is THE best Courtyard I've stayed at in my 10 + years of traveling. Where to begin the praise... The staff here is great, they love and bend over backward for all guests but especially for the frequent road warriors. All staff: blue collar, front desk, food & drink and management are top notch! The food selection is what you would expect from a Courtyard but, get to know the chef and he can pretty much accomodate your request from the items they have on the menu. This really comes in handy when you just don't feel like getting back in the car to grab a bite to eat. The internet in the room is BLAZING fast, so fast that I think someone may have caught on and started throttling the bandwidth. But even so, the speeds are great for working from the hotel room via a remote desktop session. As other reviewers have pointed out, the location is perfectly surrounded by many great restaurants and stores. I recommend 3 Squares if you are in the area...great place with an awesome menu of entres. I only have one gripe which i've never mentioned to the staff and I don't think this detracts from giving the place five stars. The towels are just a little too thin, and being that Minnesota get's cold the towels are not up to par. I actually love this place because it seems like a lot of the stores have clothes that are not pick through like most places in big cities. After shopping in the strip mall I was able to find options that are not available at my Victoria's Secret or buckle. Because it seems it is all picked through. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking to find the latest trends it is also extremely fancy I love it I'll be here again soon I've been here a few times and that was enough. For me, the drive is not worth it from where I'm coming and the overall unnecessary attitude is just annoying. From both staff at stores and fellow shoppers. Granted, it can be anywhere however, this place just seems to have an over abundance. While there is a pretty decent selection of shops and a few decent restaurants, I'll stick to the shopping establishments closer that is if I have to venture to a mall at all. read more

The best Courtyard I have ever stayed at! I spent 17 nights here and received lovely service. From the front desk, to housekeeping, room service, to the restaurant this hotel is great for a long or short term stay! Great gym, laundry facilities (free), pool, outside deck area...this list could go on. Their Internet service was wi-fi throughout and pretty fast for hotel Internet, I downloaded a movie from iTunes within 1/2 an hour. This was located by great restaurants, shops and even a Trader Joes and Byerlys. I travel to this location at least once a year and will definitely book this hotel again. read more

One of my fav new Courtyards. Very friendly staff & attentive. The gym is larger than most, with a free weight selection, a few cardio machines, etc. They also seem to have a fun patio area outside which I unfortunately wasn't able to check out. Lobby is re done and has a fun little bar/food area which they even do happy hour specials at. I ended up getting room service for a spinach, strawberry, feta salad and it was DELICIOUS, definitely made from scratch. The hotel is extremely strategic/dangerous in its location since its packed right next to a small shopping area. DSW, REI, Lowe's, lots of other places you can run some errands or shop. (Yes dangerous was sarcasm....this area does feel very safe) I will definitely make this my destination hotel when returning back to the Twin Cities area. read more

I am a big fan of this hotel. I blocked off rooms here for my wedding and stayed here on my wedding night. I were pleasantly surprised by an updated corner suite with a beautiful balcony and view. They were very accommodating with blocking off rooms and were helpful to all of our guests. I also have worked with them blocking off rooms for corporate events and have heard nothing but good feedback. It also is very conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. read more

Great hotel. Staff are really friendly and facilities are great. The gym is definitely above average. Stayed here for 23 days and dont reallyhave any reason not to recommend it. It is situated very close to the maple grove/arbor lakes shopping district which means you are spoiled for food and shopping choices if you don't want to eat in - having said that, eating in isn't bad with the bar/restaurant serving pretty decent/value food. rooms are great size, the whole place including lobby and rooms are well decorated. Recommended, a great hotel in a great area.' one note i do remember is that the air/heating system can come on loudly, but this didn't bother me too much (but it might for others depending on location relative to the bed) read more

While I stayed at the Holiday Inn next door (reviewed separately and also excellent), a number of colleagues stayed at this Courtyard. They raved about it and so I decided to give it a try. The location is excellent in terms of dining, entertainment, and highway access. The hotel is modern, clean ,and attractive in both rooms and pubic areas. The price is very reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is definitely one of the better Courtyards I have stayed at, and I will surely stay here again. read more

Recently stayed while in MN for 4 nights. Very nice hotel, very well situated. Excellent customer service and helpful staff. Our bed was firm but very comfortable. This will be my second choice when in town. Very clean and tidy, and can't beat complimentary laundry when on the road with a toddler. Not a five star for me because our room was beautiful but small, and was contrasted by cheap toilet seat and the tub drained very slowly. All basic maintenance and repair issues, which are expected for the amount of traffic they get. Overall enjoyed the stay, and the one night we did have room service we enjoyed it immensely. read more

A group of my friends and I just spent the past weekend here and overall it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent! The bar and restaurant were GREAT! They had good food and great service! Not to mention a nice pool table that guests could use for free! It was a good location (close to a TGIF and Dave & Busters among many other things!) and had plenty of parking. I would highly recommend staying here and am certain that my friends and us will stay here again as well! The manager of the hotel, Andy, was one of the most courteous and helpful people that I have ever met. He consistently went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated well. The rooms are nice and spacious. The only negative is the bartender, she may have been new but she consulted a book on how to make even the most basic drink and she used a dirty dishrag to clean the glass of my drink before serving it to me. read more

This was the closest Marriott to the purpose of my visit. In my opinion they are far too proud of this hotel. It's difficult to leave, three left turns to get out. The doors away from the main entrance do not work, and they charge you airport rates for water and snacks. I've stayed at other Marriott hotels for half that price that were much more comfortable and value driven. read more

Our team stayed here for the volleyball tournament. It was fabulous. Lobby was so nice to hang out in while girls slept. Ashlee at the Starbucks was great, and food was very good. Small but nice workout room. Rooms were spacious and easy access to many restaurants and whole foods right across the street. Staff was so friendly and helpful and it really was a great experience. I would highly recommend it. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the convention center but drive was easy although we did go off hours. Fee wifi, laundry, they even gave us laundry soap. Stayed here when I was delayed by a car accident driving home to Canada. The room was fantastic, but the 5-stars definitely goes to the staff. When I was leaving the next morning, I was given a ride back to the auto body shop to pick up my car and a bottle of water for the trip.
