There's a machine when you get in that you want to use to get a ticket printed and assigned. It's a quick process to get that. The ticket has a number and that's the number that will be prompted for you when it's time to go up to an employee window. The facility is also clean.

What was a little confusing to us was that we didn't have any bills or documents with Both my son's name and our name on it. Kind of in a bind and not wanting to have to drive back home to get another supporting documents, she said a current car registration with my name on it, would suffice despite it being my son who was taking the test. The clerk at the window was very kind and helpful and my son took the permit test with no issues. But this Nice representative found a way to give me at least some time to get it filled out correctly by giving me a temporary plaque card. My daughters car was parked in a parking lot after the accident. My daughter told the office that she had AAA towing. The officer insisted that she use American Towing, Inc. This company is now charging us $255 to get her car back. In addition, they will charge you $20 per day for ever day that they keep your car. This is one way that the City of Roswell is scamming its residents out of money. Carrie at American Towing said that they are contracted with the Roswell Police Department. She said that they arrive quickly and get the cars out of traffic. My daughter's car was not blocking traffic. It was parked in a parking lot. There was no reason that she could not have waited for AAA to arrive and tow the car to an auto body shop for free. I took my parents (both in their mid 80's) to get their license renewed at the Canton location…read more They were dreading it and actually lost sleep over it. The lady at the front door counter was so helpful and courteous. We waited for less than 5 minutes before their names were called. The ladies at the license counters were also helpful and courteous. I was allowed to assist my parents when needed. The whole process from getting out of the car to getting back into the car was less than 15 minutes. There was approximately 40-50 other people in various stages of getting their license. It appeared to be a smooth process for everyone.
