#19 /2022 Opened in the fall of 2021 another Kwik Star…read moretravel center of the lacrosse-based Wisconsin Kwik trips. Located at the junction of interstate 280 and US 61 South this was a long time coming it was needed near the Davenport South West part of the city. This one has a very large truck parking lot scales. Like many of the newer Kwik centers there are showers a TV room unfortunately the TV does not work they can't seem to get the service hooked up properly but they're trying. This one has a good Wi-Fi Like all the other KS has the beer cooler and all the stuff you come to expect from Kwik Star the fresh deli the hot food the pizzas the Frozen the full convenience store great coffee. the free ATMs no fee(your bank May charge different) I came in got myself some nice hot two pieces of dark meat chicken tonight leg and a thigh, some mashed potato side with gravy and I was kind of hungry so I also opted for the cheesy filled breadsticks with some marinara sauce cup. Wash it down with a 28 Oz Powerade zero sugar grape. Very very clean although it's still new but most of these Kwik trips and Kwik Stars that you come to know especially the newer travel centers do a great job of catering to everybody. So no need for an extensive review it's like any other Kwik Star travel center but very well kept.

The old part needed to be tapped out because new screws are slightly larger than the old holes will take. She found me a 10-24 tap and let me use it to clean up the part. I bought a couple of screws and the door is now functioning again. Never get that at the big box. Prices are higher and selection more limited, but the folks I've encountered were knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks!

I…read morepaid and waited and waited, called customer service every week for 3 weeks and kept getting told someone would call me with a time and date coming to set me up. Keep in mind they don't fill it the day they set tank on ground and hook up and the fact that this company is only option for us in my area. So they do what they want. I finally got tank and a couple days later filled. I live in a 33' fifth wheel camper by myself. I looked at my account and noticed i was charged for a tank fill before my tank was even set. I was charged for tank and propane in it when set and then again a couple days later when they came back to fill. Being charged delivery each time. I have emailed someone about this on 3 occasions and still no response. I'm in Iowa and this weekend it's going to be -14 and I'm at 30% or less in my tank and i paid what they said i owed, $180+ to be told i had to also pay for what i was going to get upfront of $176!!! In a matter of 3 months or less I've been charged almost $800 for propane!!! Paying upfront and then they tell me it will be delivered between now, the 11th of January and the 23rd!!!! Why are we paying upfront for something we don't know how much we will need by the time they get here???? The delivery guys never leave a receipt or anything stating they were there to fill and the website is a joke. I went in to pay my amount due and how i had a balance due i don't know but i made another payment and it said payment already pending and then i had to pay the upfront costs for the new order i placed that i may not get for 2 weeks when it's freezing out and below 0. I've asked for an explanation about why I'm paying this much when tank wasn't set until nov 30th!!!! And i agree with others that the customer service girl i spoke with before was very rude. They don't care about any customers when they are the only option to get service. I'm a single woman with limited income and being charged like I'm living in a mansion and being charged for fills of propane before it was even set up for it. I filed a complaint with bbb as well and will be filing them everywhere i can. Hoping to get some help on this matter.
