If you're thinking about karate for your kids, Amerikick is the place! They are so great with the kids. They go above and beyond to make sure the kids feel comfortable, prepared, and included. My son was very nervous to start out, and they were super accommodating and helped find ways to ease his anxiety. Now he LOVES it! The instruction provided by all of the senseis is exceptional and perfectly age appropriate. The kids have so much fun, learn a ton, and gain confidence. Amerikick is awesome. I have been going there for kickboxing for about a month now (twice a week - I'm pretty tough). I love that the classes are different every time, so you never get bored, and I really feel like I am getting my money's worth. They focus a lot on your core, which I appreciate, and you can tell you are getting a good workout. I also like that the instructors are fun and that they encourage you to push yourself without yelling at you. They also have karate classes for all ages. I have been going to kickboxing classes at Amerikick since September and I absolutely LOVE it! It is one of the best workouts and they are constantly changing things up so you do not get bored. It is also nice that there are 2 different instructors so you get a different workout from each of them. I started personal training there in December and that has really helped me be mindful of what my body can handle and helps me push myself like I never thought I could. I have also taken advantage of the Boot Camp classes that started up this last spring. I am on my 4th round of that and I feel great! It is nice to get up and get my workouts out of the way in the morning and feel energized though out the whole day. I love how all of the workouts make me feel, but I really love the atmosphere at Amerikick in Janesville. They make you feel like you are a part of their family and they encourage you to bring your friends and family in so that you have a good time while staying healthy and getting fit. Whatever your age or where you are at in your workout regimen there is something for you to do there, you go at your own pace yet still get encouragement from others and no one feels out of place. I am so glad I have found Amerikick and l love that I have found somewhere that makes me enjoy working out!! read more
