My grandson briefly attended this so-called "Christian School". In the short time he was there, the…read morekindergarten "teacher" managed to completely break him down, making him actually believe he was a "bad boy". This woman brow beats her students into submission and instills fear into them to such a degree that they know there will be punishment if they dare to remotely step out of line. It took the teacher at his new school time and patience to completely reprogram my grandson and assure him that he was NOT the "bad kid" that this school made him out to be. The psychological damage that this school caused him was almost irreparable. Aside from the overpriced tuition, his parents were forced to purchase a year's worth of school supplies ($100 worth) which the school didn't bother to return, even though he only attended for six weeks. They also added a charge of $50 for a "fund raising fee" although again, they never returned the supplies that he could have used for his new kindergarten class. To say the people running this school are Christians, is a gross misrepresentation. Christians teach children with love and compassion, not by browbeating them and through intimidation. We wanted a prime education for our grandson, which is exactly what he is now receiving (and more) through public education and a teacher who genuinely cares about him. The biggest mistake we ever made was to enroll him in Southwestern Christian.
