The officer also came to the hospital to make sure I was doing alright because I had gone head first into the A Frame post of my vehicle and got a nasty bump on the head. The wonderful staff we talked to at the reports department were very friendly and easy to work with and made sure to give us any update that they had. We got the accident report about a week later and we were able to turn it right into insurance. No hassle. Their later hours (7am-7pm) made it very convenient to pick up after work.

To the best of my knowledge and belief, the officer falsified information on the police report, the detective assigned to my case did not perform due diligence to properly investigate the theft and no arrest has ever been made. They would only give me a redacted copy of the police report. These people are criminally incompetent, willfully negligent, and are engaged in fraud and misconduct. Someone needs to sue them! I have no reason to trust this business at all!

I would know, I use them often. Cute city in Iowa that is a lot bigger than people realize. It's a little bit outside of Des Moines just to the west of Interstate 35 where it intersects with Route 30 which is actually the Southeastern corner of the town. It's about 15 to 20 minutes north of Des Moines if there's no traffic. It has a very pretty Town Hall that looks like it belongs to a bigger city. It's very flat but then so is your mother's chest.

(made that up) (but it wouldn't surprise me) This Police Department wasn't particularly nice to me. They scared the crap out of me by waking me up when I was having a nap. They always say, you know, don't drive tired and pull over and have a rest. Well I pulled over and had a rest in a gas station after buying some drinks from inside, and when I woke up I was planning to fill up the tank before hitting the road - but after the way the owner of the gas station called the police on me (I could tell, he was staring before and as and after they were all up on me), and after the rude way the police woke me up and told me to move along after surrounding my car with several of their SUVs, I'm not a huge fan of this Police Department. I guess it could have been worse if they searched my car or detained me or something so for that reason only I will give them 2 instead of 1.

A thank you to the wonderful officers at the Ankeny Police Department. Officers are always there…read morequickly and make sure to assist immediately for any situation. We have been unfortunate enough to have a few medical calls on the last year, and officers have always been there to assist before fire/medics show up and then support fire/medical staff right away. When we had a few noise complaints from some not so great neighbors, they got there quickly and handled the situation in a very professional but stern manner. Any of the few experiences I have had have always been good, I am very pleased that the department is so huge into community service and involvement! Great job!

Cop straight lied in court today. He pulled me over in Ankeny for getting in the turning lane too…read moresoon. Said that it was 300 meters when it was more like 3 feet. Lies. Not the only thing he lied about! Of course the judge took his word over mine. She also used my words against me. I said, I'd never heard of that law before". Not that I broke the law.
