It's a little bit outside of Des Moines just to the west of Interstate 35 where it intersects with Route 30 which is actually the Southeastern corner of the town. It's about 15 to 20 minutes north of Des Moines if there's no traffic. It has a very pretty Town Hall that looks like it belongs to a bigger city. It's very flat but then so is your mother's chest.

Maybe it's because you have to make appointments, but I was called to the counter before my scheduled appointment time and the whole process to get a new license took less than 20 minutes.
