My experience of the customer service on the front desk, the beauticians handling of my spray tan and the overall experience at beauty base was nothing but positive. Before having a Fake Bake spray tan (a brand of spray tan I've not had before), I researched online about what can happen and have to admit that a number of people online (not talking about beauty bases' work) said that fake bake had turned them green. I made sure I scrubbed, exfoliated and put fresh clothes on (so no remnants of any product had settled on my clothes). I didnt turn green. i will be revisiting beauty base for another spray tan in 3 weeks, just before my wedding, that's how much I liked the treatment and results!

She used too much glue that I could not open my both my eyes without great difficulty for several minutes she used some solution which stung my eyes. But what was worse she thought it was incredibly funny and started laughing. It was very embarrassing as the treatment was in a chair in the main part of the salon which was full of other clients. Very unprofessional. I would ever go back to have any treatments particularly as the lashes all fell out after 2 days when I was told they would last two weeks!

The quality of products used is excellent but i sometimes get the impression that the Polish woman rushes in order to fit even more people in, which leads to slightly shoddy workmanship. I have, on more than one occassion, had a shellac manicure chip quickly on the times that she rushes. Overall though i would recommend them to others and I will certainly continue to use their services.

I didn't feel like the stylist actually listened to me as I wanted my hair in a new style and quite a bit shorter but ended up with a cut that looks exactly as the one I came in with, just a bit shorter and more refined. It's not a bad cut, they definitely know what they are doing, I'm just disappointed to have paid 40 quid for a cut that looks exactly as the one I walked in with. Not only I received really good customer service, I felt really comfortable and welcome. Sarah was the stylist who did my hair and she was fantastic. Definitely I will be back and highly recommend it, great service and hair cut without the price tag of the kinds of toni&guy.
