I have been doing my taxes at the Amirian office for several years and never thought to write them a review. They are always courteous and seem very knowledgeable about their work. For tax year 2022 I had an issue with my taxes and Mr. Amirian was able to resolve everything for me (saving me quite a bit of money). His staff are also very nice and professional, although I don't know if they file taxes also. Another thing I like about their office is their parking. I've been going to American Accounting & Tax for about 2 1/2 years now and I can honestly say this man knows what he's doing. He had to re-do my taxes because of an oopsie from previous accountant, and he did not waste time, within two days he fixed everything, called IRS for me, had them reverse the garnishing wages letter and re-filed two years of taxes. He took time to explain to me what was done wrong and why it shouldn't be in such a way too! Very informative and nice man! Everyone in the office is very kind actually. He could get busy though, best to call and make an appointment. There's parking in front, almost always a spot available. read more

I received a letter from Los Angeles financial tax department stating I owe 1,200 dollars for a bussiness that I don't have. So I went to this accounting firm spoke to Armen, he assured me he can solve this issue. He promised he would have his assistant Lilia work on it and charged me $100. 10 days pass and no phone call so I called them they said they are working on it. 15 days pass Lilia calls me and says I can pay the $1200 in 3 payments. I was furious, I paid 100 dollars for her to call the collection agency???? I told her I went to there office for help and to find out why they think in my taxes I've filed I owe $1200 dollars and she says I can pay 3 easy payment? Please do not go here I don't think these people know what they are doing. Now a month has past and my issue is not solved. read more

My only complaint is I was scheduled to have my taxes done w Armen and although he was there and I drove 45 min to see him I had another person do my taxes . Me and my girlfriend always came here year after year. The main tax CPA who handles all of the business accounts is Armen Amirian. Unfortunately Armen does not know how to respond to questions from his clients. After paying our taxes we ran into some issues and needed some clarification. We called over and over again asking for his other CPA to give us a call. Every time he stated he would give her the message, and we never received the call back. Once again we called and his response was "are you educated in the United States" "do you know how to read" THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TALK TO YOUR CLIENTS. Obviously we are educated and know how to read which is why I am leaving this place a one star review, it is clear that Armen is high off himself and his knowledge, if you are sitting in front of him he clearly thinks he is the smarter person which is why he deserves zero stars. read more
