I have been searching for a well built shed for months and I, of course, wanted it for a fair price. I checked Home Depot, Lowe's Wayfair, Amazon, local builders, Craigslist... lots of places. I talked to many people, read tons of reviews and then was even more confused about what makes a great, long lasting, well built, good looking shed... On Craigslist, I happened upon an nondescript ad that I checked out, just as I had many others. I was VERY pleasantly surprised at the quick response to my gazillion (really) questions. Patient and thorough answers, photos of not only the shed in question, which happened to be already built, but also offers to customize different sizes if necessary, photos of insides and outside, roof shots, moving shots so I could determine if it could be delivered. They were concerned with helping me get the right product. Obviously, they need to make a living, but they were not trying to make their whole week's salary from my one purchase. I have since recommended them to anyone who talks to me about getting a shed, given out their contact info as well. the delivery process took maybe a half hour, but probably less. I already had a concrete pad where a garage had been removed, so I only had to make sure it was swept of debris. If you want a seamless, professionally built Amish shed, these are the folks to contact. the sheds come primed and ready to paint the colors you prefer. My attached photos are before I apply my paint. This is an 8' X 10' better quality shed. I did purchase their "better quality" shed so that my maintenance requirements are minimal. They said that even their regular/good quality would just need painting every few years to last many, many years. The better quality sheds only need painting every 10- 15 years. I don't know if that claim is true, but everything else they told me took place just as described, so I am choosing to believe this as well. I recommend doing business with this company. They are not the actual builders, but they have a relationship with the builders and will customize orders for whatever your needs are. Perfection, perfection, perfection. From the VERY FIRST step to the very last. Bravo! I don't think I've ever worked with a contractor before where I've been 100% happy from start to finish. First off - I hate talking on the phone. But generally contractors prefer that. Chris at Amish Valley Sheds was AMAZING after I contacted him through Facebook messenger. Super patient with all my questions, very detailed and thorough with his responses... I also GREATLY appreciate his upfront, open, and honest pricing ::gasp:: right there on his Facebook page! I am soooooo tired of people who sell items and are so shady about pricing like "PM me for pricing information" - why? Is someone else getting a better deal than me? Chris is totally open about his product, pricing, and anything else you wanted to know. We went out to the lot in North Collins to get a look at his display items and he happened to be out there that day loading up a shed for another customer. HE WAS AWESOME. Seriously, if I was blown away by his time and attention via Messenger, he was even more patient and detailed and happy to talk about the products in person. Just wonderful (and NOT PUSHY !!!) customer service. After we decided on the shed, he was great about providing details about all the options available, was SUPER quick to respond to my inquiries, very reasonable pricing on the upgrades and changes we made to the basic design. He was also extremely helpful with the permit process for my town (soooo stupid, needing a $150 stinking permit to have a shed delivered, UGH) And delivery? Holy cow- see my picture for how they do it. People in my neighborhood watched them roll up with this GIGANTIC flatbed rig, (loaded with another shed by the way along with our 12x24 shed) , take it off the rig, and then use this tiny machine on tank-like roller tracks to ease it into my backyard. This machine is about the size of my riding lawn mower. IT IS INSANE. The delivery guys maneuvered it around my backyard like it was *nothing* --- neighbors were watching with mouths agape (me too!) It's a beautiful shed. Neighbors have openly told us they have shed envy. haha. The shed comes primed and then you paint them yourself (or hire someone) We did have to pay extra to a local contractor to prep the site for the shed (they dig out the turf and then lay crushed stone) which cost us quite a bit extra so keep that in mind when you're pricing out your sheds. They also don't' include electrical connections if that's something you're interested in - you will have to have an electrician do that separately $$$$. We got ours with extra height so that my 6'4" husband wouldn't have to stoop to get in the doors. We also had lofts installed in each end to maximize our storage space (SUPER glad we did this). We also had an extra set of doors installed on the end (only $100, are you kidding me!?! And, again, they were customized to our height so my husband can walk with in) so that we can get our riding lawn mower in and out without having to move anything else around. It's like it's own dedicated entrance. WE ARE SO HAPPY. Bravo to Chris and his team. They are at the top of their game. read more

Horrible. They told me I can put a shed in my yard but the building department would not let me. They told me I can put it anywhere I want to is closest to the fence as I want to, etc. and that is not the case. I went by what they had told me and I put a $750 deposit down and they refused to return it.! read more
