I had to pay the driver of the business $320 for two round trips from Del Rio Heb to Acuna. Dr. Aide was not there her associates were. The first trip I hade to wait 4+ hours in the office. The partials did not fit and the adjustments were attempted but failed. I was told to wear the for 24hours continuous. The pain was too great the next date. i could not talk well and eating was out of ythe question. To this date i can not eat with the densures. it is December now i can not eat with these partials. The Staff were nice. i waisted $1300+. I will not return. I have learned my lesson.

My father is a patient at this UMC clinic. He had an appointment which had been scheduled for a few…read moreweeks and always makes it a point to be punctual. The day of his appointment we were 10 minutes early, checked in with the receptionist, and the man who handles insurance, and payments. During our long wait in the waiting lobby we had inquired about the length of time waiting to be seen, but weren't given any explanation as to what the delay was. The doctor informed later, while my father was being seen that he was running behind, and was playing catch up for the days appointments. The lobby being rearranged and set up for a Chamber of Commerce event taking place later on seemed to be of more importance than patient care. Professional, business etiquette is lacking at this facility. Getting phone calls returned in a timely manner, and keeping the patient informed in regards to their care is not a top priority here either. To expect this kind of service at an establishment other than a 'professional medical' office is standard in DR. To get this kind of service at a healthcare facility is truly disappointing.

My mom has been here for about a year now and I have had no complaints with the facility, the care, the nursing, the rehabilitation and the staff. The People that make up Val Verde Nursing and Rehabilitation Center are the most nicest, friendliest and educated staff. They provide excellent care for dementia and Alzheimer disease. The facility is undergoing a facelift at this time and their parking lot needs improvements, but that is just cosmetic. What matters is the care that this facility provides to their residents.
