Since I was a tourist, I didn't schedule an appointment and inquired if I could get it fixed relatively quickly. The dental assistant at the front desk was friendly and was quick in offering to find out what the cost would be for me since I don't have insurance in Australia. Since it wasn't too busy at the time I went in, the dentist, Dr. Dong, was able to see me immediately. He was careful in assessing where the problem area was and grinded my retainer down to make it much more comfortable for me. Pretty swift for a relatively young dentist! He wasn't a chatty Cathy, which I appreciate, but was friendly in asking me how I was, how I've been enjoying Sydney, etc. The assistant who aided him in the room was also nice and professional. The clinic itself was nice and clean, and the waiting space is tastefully decorated. There are even some toys for kids to play with! The actual room I was in had a TV up on the ceiling for me to watch the news; nice touch to distract patients or at least calm them down a bit!

I was drawn to it because of their new customer special - I believe the initial teeth cleaning is super cheap? Anyways they took care of my bf's teeth needs (mine were top notch!). I also had my teeth cleaned and some fillings put in, her gentle and precise technique ensured I was not in any discomfort. Lynette is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions and concerns I had. They were even able to take photos of my teeth (the molars at the back) and show me what work needed to be done, this was awesome as I could actually see the difference in what she had done to fix my teeth! The clinic was extremely hygienic and I especially enjoyed the rainforest wallpaper which I appreciated while my teeth were being cleaned. If you are looking for a new dentist I would highly recommend this practice as Lynettes experience, knowledge and passion towards her work is remarkably apparent.

They gave me lots of great advice on what works (and what isn't worth doing) for my teeth and gum health. - They also check out your gums (not just your teeth) which is key for a healthy mouf, and for keeping all your pearly whites. - Comfy chairs. - Clinic is fitted out with modern dental tech. Added bonus: They use digital radiography to scan your teeth (which means being exposed to much less radiation than the normal x-rays dentists often use). So, less of a chance that you'll grow a tail or go rampaging through Tokyo at some point (so maybe that's a con for some?). In a nutshell, the folks at Whole Tooth know their bidness, and made the whole process relatively painless. Highly recommended!
