Many times I requested to have our accounts combined to ensure our payments were made appropriately to prevent this type of thing from happening! She was great and told me what was going to happen at that visit. She then told me she would be taking my x-rays and polishing and flossing my teeth. -- WHAT, NOW? Doesn't that happen AFTER the cleaning. Nope! It was done before! So, had x-rays, she polished and flossed my teeth, then had Dr. came to do exam and then the hygienist cleaned my teeth. To me that's all backward - like doing your hair and make-up to then take a shower. It doesn't make sense. I also asked about perio charting because I'm VERY aware of my oral care and mentioned that I don't think it's happening at my visits because I've never heard or been told about my numbers. I told her I like to HEAR what the pocket depth is so I know of any areas that I need to watch or spend extra care on at home (if there's a 4 or larger I'm spending extra time on that area). She said she does it each visit and proceeds with "cleaning" but again NEVER says anything about charting or numbers AFTER I JUST TOLD HER I NEED TO HEAR IT! Looking for a different dentist.
