I have been going through withdrawls since I've been back in the states. I got the wild strawberry custard gelato and it was to die for! My friend and I went to Rinaldini three times in the four days we were in Milano. We had several other flavors too. The gelato was rich, smooth and creamy. Everything was delicious. This place was recommended by a local. I've had gelato all over Italy and this was one of the best places I've been to. I just wish I could find something half as good at home.

My immediate reaction was, seriously, however off I went in search of what was described as the best marron glacé.....and they are just that, sheer perfection. The two young ladies behind the counter asked when they would be consumed and I explained I would be traveling so they thoughtfully went into the back room and got a supply of freshly made little gems that they explained would survive 2 weeks, well they didn't! Upon my return when I presented my little gems to the awaiting gourmand the sheer delight was overwhelming and all 24 were consumed over the weekend! Definitely to be repeated upon my next visit, I see 3 dozen!
