Gelato is a must in Italy... and Amorino, GROM, Venchi, and probably a few more well known chains are everywhere the tourists would be... this location is right on the canal... lots of people but omg, there was only one person working... and the wait was like a good 20 mins to get ice cream. It's not as clean as other locations but this one has seatings... if you don't mind the smelly bathroom stench, dead spiders, swarm of flies... then it's ok. Otherwise, bare the sun... and sit outside. We got a small cone with mango gelato, a strawberry slush and a vanilla Affogato... the cup is nothing fancy... it's a paper cup... not as pretty as the picture. Taste wise... it's gelato... nothing amazing that I can't get at home. For sure, try the more local ones... they have really good flavors as well. I actually like Venchi more. Enjoy Gelato! So a little treat before dinner. Atmosphere & Service - Typically ice cream spot. The setup is weird here. Naturally you head straight to the case because it is right there at the entrance. The register is the furthest from the door. The problem here is that the people that paid are also there trying to gather their food. One person was working and he wanted you to pay, get a receipt and hand him the receipt back over the case. Thankfully it was not crowded when we were there. This is more take your food and walk kind of place, seating is limited, and there is some outside. Food Treat - I had to get a cone as the rose was beautiful. I had blueberry cheesecake center with strawberry to finish off the rose. I enjoyed my treat, and the work to create the rose was interesting. Future - I could eat here again. read more

Roses should remain in flower shops. Shaping ice cream like a blooming rose does not improve its taste. In this case, it's beautifully shaped and totally tasteless. Ice cream should be especially good, regardless of its presentation. Tried pistachios and dark chocolate. My teeth encountered several crumbs of ice instead of creamy textures. To be avoided, also since it's not cheap at all. read more

I just love the ice-cream that they have over here. The only downside of this place: normally you have to queue a bit before you can start enjoying your great ice cream :) On the other hand, you can also see this on the bright side: more people want to have ice cream from this place because it so good :) Also love the presentation here: the cone you get looks like a really nice flower and it just looks awesome :) read more

One of my favorite gelato places, I first had it in Paris since that's where it originated from. I had the raspberry, pistachio and coconut, they use real fruit and nuts. Also always it was delish, I only wish they made the presentation better, I could've carved it better myself... read more
