Eric Schiemer of Schiemer Entertainment was the DJ at my son's wedding last weekend. Much of the…read moresuccess of the reception can be attributed to my daughter-in-law's choice of Eric as the DJ! He was highly professional and easy to work with. He kept the volume low during the dinner so guests could chat, but knew how to create energy when it was time to open the dance floor. He did just enough Master of Ceremony type announcing without drawing too much attention to himself. I can't recommend him highly enough! Also, he took pictures and videos that he sent early the morning after the wedding! It was great to have those as a supplement to the photographer's pictures.

Update 12/23: Keystone Entertainment later disputed this review by stating they never worked with…read moreus, which is false. They were contracted as our DJ for our 9/27/25 wedding, with a signed contract, paid invoices, and extensive email correspondence. The decision to deny the working relationship rather than address the concerns raised is concerning and worth noting for future couples. I was married on 9/27, and Keystone was our DJ. Unfortunately, the experience was disorganized from start to finish. Every time we reached out to the owner (who was also our main point of contact), we were met with excuses for why tasks hadn't been completed. We didn't receive our final timeline until just two days before the wedding, despite multiple follow-ups, which caused unnecessary stress. During the event itself, there were several missed or awkward moments -- including our cake cutting -- and an incorrect announcement inviting us to the buffet line, even though we were supposed to be served at our table. Leading up to the wedding, I reached out two months in advance, one month in advance, and again weekly as the date approached. I had expressed that I preferred a phone conversation to talk through details, but instead, the company required everything to be completed through their app. The process was lengthy (our timeline ended up being 21 pages) and could have been handled much more efficiently through a simple discussion. When we finally connected, our scheduled call started nearly two hours late because Laurel said she was "finishing up work." Instead of reviewing our music or flow of events, the call focused entirely on setup logistics -- details that should have been coordinated directly with the venue and day-of coordinator. I asked multiple times for her to contact them directly, and the venue even sent her an email answering most of her questions, which she later claimed she couldn't locate. On the wedding day, the DJ team set up in the wrong location and appeared unprepared, confirming that coordination with the venue never took place as requested. After the wedding, when I shared this feedback, the owner's response was defensive rather than solution-oriented. She deflected responsibility onto her staff and the venue, said "I'm sorry you feel that way," and even claimed she "did extra work to save us money." At no point did she take true accountability or show empathy for how the situation affected us. Overall, I would not recommend Keystone. If you're detail-oriented and expect organized communication, I'd suggest exploring other options. But if you don't mind managing the planning yourself and prefer a hands-off approach, this company may be a better fit.

From the get go, Laurel made booking and payment so easy. They were very communicative in the weeks leading up to the event. On the day of the party, the young man who was DJ arrived in plenty of time, was both friendly and professional. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we extended the contract for additional (which was also a simple/easy process.) I would highly recommend Keystone Entertainment and intend to use them again when our next big family event rolls around. Thank you! - JW

It was there, but in the moment, I realized I hadn't paid enough time. Thankfully, Travis was able to know what to except, saw what was going on, and simply adjusted. (Looking back, it wasn't simple, Travis just knew!). It all flowed. Even when my husband hurt his ankle dancing to the son/mother dance (I know - Murphy's Law is real at weddings), Travis just knew what to do! Lastly, Travis charges a wonderful price; and does not charge extra for lights (which we used), and items for showing pictures (did not use), such as TVs or projectors. Other people I talked to charged way extra for those things. Hats to you Travis, and thank you again!!!
