They create floral designs for everything from weddings to birthdays to anniversaries to anything you can dream up (big, small, or everyday). They don't have typical business hours, but you can contact them at any time to set up a consultation. I reached out to Bloom Brigade originally for my wedding flowers and they were super helpful in finding a time that worked well for both of us. After meeting with several florists, my fiance and I felt that Bloom Brigade was the right choice for us -- with Carolyn (aka Clang) getting to the details about our event and Suzan imagining the big picture. Closer to my wedding I met with Clang and Suzan again to finalize our flowers -- we were focused on local, in-season, and in our color palette with lots of inspiration of wildflowers. What Bloom Brigade put together for our day of was above and beyond what we could have imagined. Not only did they create an arbor for our outside ceremony, but they also meticulously created beautiful box center pieces, decorated our venue's mantle (The Mayernik Center), the naked coffee cake, and put other finishing touches throughout the venue as needed. We originally had another wedding venue booked, but when we visited the Mayernik we knew we had to make the switch. We chose a Friday afternoon because we able to save a little bit of money, but also book other locations on the property to make it a full day experience for our guests. The Mayernik has some suggested vendors, but the only requirement is from choosing from one of their 3 food vendors. We tried each over time and settled on Remo's...who created an amazing meal for us. It was high quality and reasonably priced. Our wedding ceremony was at 1230, followed by a brunch reception. For the ceremony we opted for the extra cost of chairs to be set out and I'm glad we did. It was a beautiful day and I would have been uncomfortable forcing everyone to stand during our ceremony. After the reception, we invited a few guests to an after party at The Cabin, one of the smaller locations on the property. Leading up to and throughout the day, Jennifer was attentive and made sure all our details came through without us worrying. She even helped organize and pack things up at the end of the night. I was never worried during the experience and knew she had it handled. If I had to do it again, I'd pick the Mayernik as our choice venue. What a great day to remember!

I originally worked with the event coordinator Shannon, who was wonderful: very accommodating, available and informative. She notified me that she was leaving her job as event coordinator approximately 2 weeks before my wedding! I was a panicked bride after hearing this...what a nightmare! Shannon made our transition to Suzi, another event coordinator at the Center, extremely smooth. Although Shannon was pleasant to work with, I am so happy to have had Suzi coordinate my event. She is extremely personable, accommodating and flexible. I really felt like she was there for me on my wedding day. She took care of everything, from the last minute decision to move the ceremony inside to fluffing my train before I walked down the isle. She helped us clean up at the end of the night and my family and friends all loved working with her. The Mayernik Center is difficult to reserve, so I would plan to book at least a year ahead, preferably more if you want a Saturday date. I had a Friday wedding and would recommend it if all the Saturdays are taken. We did not have a DJ, but used the Mayernik Center's sound system to play music. It worked perfectly. The only reason I am not giving the Center 5 stars is that they do not have chairs available for outside ceremony's, which makes outside ceremony's very difficult. I changed the menu several times and I never felt like I was bothering her. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. The night of the event , Vicki, Judee and two servers bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. But All if the 70 guests had a blast at this casino bday party. The coordinator michelle was divine to work with. 2 of the workers were insanely professional (Shawn and Sandra) where they dealt the whole time and didn't break to eat. They came already dressed. Wish i could say the same for Brian and Jim (the other two dealers) who helped themselves to food a half hour BEFORE starting. Then during party. And at end of party. Didn't ask. Simply said "you have enough food so I'm going to eat" then smiled and proceeded....both of them changed at my house when they got there, and Jim actually changed up in my bedroom. Yuck. Jim then proceeded to grab another plate as the night progressed and the finale was when he asked to take home a few pieces of cake. Class act right there. But i would later find out that Jim was quite well known which was probably the cause for his pompous behavior. *He had been on the news for 2 months straight. There was a story in the news where a man ejaculated in line for the log jammer ride, at kennywood theme park, midday, in public, ON A 13 yr OLD GIRLS LEG!! A manhunt was on for 39 yr old mr James wright, until they matched his dna from his sperm ,that was on a 13 yr old girls sock at kennywood....and for two months he eluded police. Since October, his case sits in sex offender court until they have the time to hear his case. Until then, he walks a free man. a free man at my house. A free man at your house?? Unbeknownst to me that a pedophile would be dealing cards as he watched and probably took photos of the 15 kids running around....to add to the already found photos on His phone from kennywood Over the summer of 8-13 yr old girls!! Thankfully, after my call that night to alert michelle (who claimed to have no clue), she stated they would place him on leave until the case is resolved. Something that Shouldve happened back in October when he was caught and released on non monetary bail. Ugh. I'm praying that this establishment truly DID let him go so he's not an endangerment to other young girls. Scary crap. They do fingerprint at this establishment but he was hired years prior so it was missed is what she told me.

This place is an absolute gem, and everyone I interacted with (thanks Julie!) made the place very welcoming for us! We rented the Barn for a saturday afternoon shower for about 25 people. The Barn has a small kitchenette, two restrooms, and a coat rack. They arranged the tables and provided table cloths. There were only about 11 parking spots in the main lot, but some additional room to park by the main office. Highly recommend!
