Experience with Amro Construction
We contracted Amro Construction late in July about our need for some structural upgrades to the main entrance deckway and complete renovations of the two main floor bathrooms. We received their proposal in mid-August and after clarifying some details, work began two weeks later.
Amro did a very solid job of scheduling the various outside resources they needed to use. The support trades they enlisted: vinyl decking installer, tile installer, electricians, painters, insulators and plumbers displayed the same work ethic and service orientation that the business partners do. Amro also recommended to us a number of suppliers: cabinet makers, flooring and tile suppliers that they had worked with successfully in the recent past and then looked after ordering and coordination of deliveries.
The dedication, attention to detail and follow-up by the lead hand they assigned to our job was critical to Amro successfully delivering the kind of results they offered and we needed.
The final phase of the work to be completed, the main ensuite bathroom, was available for use on November 11, ten weeks after work began. When Amro's final invoice arrived four weeks after job completion, there were no surprises. The invoice detailed the several scope adjustments that had been encountered, discussed and authorized in advance. Nothing was billed that we had not previously agreed to.
We found the Amro team extremely service-oriented and personable, very diligent in follow-up exhibiting a very high work ethic. We had a general vision of how we wanted the bathrooms to look after renovation but not hard details. Amro's team, with their extensive experience, was able to suggest alternatives for our consideration and then we decided which way to proceed.
We are very pleased with the outcome.
