So how fortuitous it was that I found her when I had recently reached my own personal rock bottom and was in extraordinary emotional pain. Having recently moved to Bend, far from family and friends, I don't know how I could've gotten through this without her. I found Shannon to be instantly warm, kind and non-judgemental. Her empathy and compassion are instantly apparent, but she also worked to give me attainable goals to keep me tracking for success and help pull me out of a deep dark hole. I have gotten to know Kimberly a bit over the past several months and have enjoyed meaningful and personal conversation with her. The items she and I dove into are personal insights into events in my life that have had a profound impact on my in the past as well as do shape who I am working on becoming in my future. I have found Kimberly to be a fantastic listener who really does care about what is being said as well as the impactful ness of the discussion and subject matter within. I began to lose hope that I'd find anyone who could relate and help me fight my demons. Then I found Gianni through a recommendation and when I met her I quickly learned she was no nonsense therapist but i was confused because she still had that maternal element that I learned I needed since I had resentment towards my own mother . Things began to make sense when I found out she was also a veteran (explains the no nonsense) and then the cherry on top was when I found out she was a woman of faith which she didn't tell me until I pressed her. I couldn't understand how she had so much hope and faith and being obnoxiously curious I made it a point to find out now I'm on a whole new journey of self discovery and faith !
