Amy was a fantastic seller's agent in the sale of my house in the Heights. It was a complicated deal with various challenges that popped up, but she navigated them with ease and got me closed on time. Amy earned every penny of commission. Some of the support that she assisted/dealt with: 1) Used a fantastic photographer who made the house look its absolute best. 2) Assisted in staging the house _very_ affordably and tastefully (some things done for free or purely at her expense). 3) Dealt with a first offer/contract that fell through due to a buyer who got cold feet and wanted a ridiculous number of repairs done in the diligence period. 4) Assisted and coordinated with title companies to clear up liens/deeds of trust from the original builder of the home that had not been cleared when it was sold to me. We had the best experience with Amy as first time home buyers. She guided us step by step through the search, the offer, the option period, and ultimately the closing process. She was with us every step of the way. We had a very competitive property that was listed on a Friday morning. We were the first potential buyers to see the property and Amy was able to work with our lender, who she recommended, to get an offer submitted on Saturday afternoon. The offer was immediately accepted by the seller and they cancelled the remaining showings for the home. Amy helped me move into a luxury high-rise building with a high occupancy level and very little vacancies. It was rare that anything came up in this highly sought after building. After nearly a year and a half of trying to purchase something in this very saturated Real Estate market where there is little inventory I finally decided to give up for a little while. I was exhausted from looking and disappointed in being bid out time after time even though I was pre-approved and qualified. After I took a few months off a friend of mine suggested that I rent a place for a while that I might like. Amy was very attentive and compassionate due to my recent Real Estate disappointments and I think she realized I might need a little hand holding. She was very knowledgable in regards to the area I was interested in and recent developments that were under construction as well as high-rises and condos that were built within recent years. She seemed to know a lot about the properties, their values in case I wanted to purchase later, the amenities and what to expect. I was throroughly impressed by her professionalism. She helped me find an amazing place to call home in a highrise in the Galleria area on the top floor. This property, as I had stated earlier, rarely had vacancies but she was able to find this gem as soon as it hit the market it seems. The owner of the property wanted more money than what I wanted to pay for in rent and she was able to help me negotiate that rate down to something within my budget and terms that both sides were very agreeable with for the long-term. She even insisted on taking my picture on my new balcony with the skyline in the background in the evening so that I could post it on my Facebook page before I moved in to show everyone my new view. I would highly recommend her as a Real Estate Agent for anyone that is looking.
