Now that I've closed on my house I can begin to wrap things up with a review of things from start to finish with Dawn as my agent. My husband and I recently purchased a vacation home with Dawn Beltrami-Beltrami Realty Group. The whole process from beginning to end felt like a novel where you know the desired ending and the cast of characters, and a general idea of the plot, and the novel goes into a different direction and you get to write it every day. We had two agents, two brokers, a loan officer, processors and underwriter and of course the appraiser. Moving to Texas from California was a challenge to start with. However, finding Dawn to help us was the best thing we ever did for our move to Houston. She was highly referred to us. Dawn was able to make it VERY easy for us, even though house hunting can be tiresome, she made it totally seamless and as stress-free as possible. For one, she always took and returned our calls promptly, which is one thing that many agents don't actually do on a timely basis. She answered texts and emails quickly and had an answer to our many questions about the Texas areas. She new her stuff and was very genuine! She got down on her hands and knees during open houses to check out attics, basements, garages, and small closets. I've never seen that in any realtor. She helped us look beyond the surfaces to the "bones" of the houses she took us to really find the best structural homes and she had the willingness to dissuade us from buying certain homes that appeared good on just the outside. One home was right across the street from a Community Center and we are people who do not like a lot of traffic in front of our house. Trust me, we never would have seen that from the photos or open house on Saturday if she hadn't pointed out to us. But it wasn't all the little things she found, she also went to bat for us when it came to negotiating the details of the sale with the sellers. She got us the most fair deal ever and even went a few steps further to make an even better arrangement possible for us. Her interaction with the Lender was also amazing! Not only was she very professional in her business methods, but she is also extremely personable and friendly. A true joy and wonderful personality! I don't know how she does it, I am still impressed at how organized and how good of a memory she has. Don't get me wrong, buying a house for the first time was very stressful for my husband and I. I applaud anyone who says the process is anything other than that. However, Dawn showed us first-timers the ropes and helped us feel comfortable. It takes me a while to trust anyone and I can assure you that you can trust Dawn.
