My wife hired Ben to take her senior photos in high school and we just recently hired him to shoot our engagement photos and our wedding. He has a natural eye for a good photo and can adapt quickly to new settings, conditions, and environments. Despite being young, he has a lot of experience and a breadth of knowledge in great locations for photoshoots. Even if he's shot at a location many times, your photos will still feel unique and personal. Perhaps the best part of hiring Ben as your photographer is his personality. He's easy to befriend, personable, and is incredible with kids. He's very patient and if it weren't for his easy-going persona, I'd have been a nervous mess during all our photoshoots. Rather, I recall commenting to my wife how genuinely enjoyable it was to get our photos done with Ben. It felt less like a "to-do" or a chore and much more like an experience. But of course, you hire a photographer for the results. And the results are stunning. I don't generally enjoy looking at pictures of myself but Ben's photos feel less like looking at pictures of yourself and more like reliving moments in time. He has a such a knack for capturing the beauty of a moment. Perhaps the best part is that he gives you lifetime access to all the full-resolution digital copies of all the photos he took/edited. There may be a premium for this built into his fees, but compared to other photographers I've used who charge exorbitant fees for each digital copy you want to acquire, this is a probably still a steal. To say Ben is a photographer is to say Picasso was a painter: he's one of the friendliest, most talented, and natural artistic professionals I've ever met, and if you want a photographer that won't leave you disappointed, Ben is your guy.

Got an email quote for chair rental for a Saturday, which included drop off and pick up by the…read morecompany, and it was reasonable so I called and rented the chairs. At this time, the lady who answered the phone told me we would have to pick up because they did not have any available time to drop off on the Friday before the event, but that they would pick up on Monday. I agreed and paid. The chairs were white, dingy and dirty, but at this time I was in a pinch and we took them despite the filth. Fast forward to Monday, no one showed up to pick up the chairs. I called Tuesday to ask about it, and I was told at this time I would have to pay more if I wanted to have the chairs picked up or I could bring them in. On Monday I could have done this because I had access to a truck to haul them, but by Tuesday I was without options. The woman I spoke to this time said a new hire had misinformed me about the costs, and I guess the new woman was the one sending email quotes too because I was told the wrong price twice and misled about company policy. I agreed to pay for pickup after I conveyed my disappointment. This review is to let you know about my experience with this company, which I will not do business with again, due to hidden charges, miscommunication, failure to stand by agreed upon prices and finally the condition of the product.

I did not stay there but after lunch, Wyatt gave our group a tour of about half dozen unoccupied rooms along with some history of the hotel. There are 40 rooms, each with a different theme reflecting an aspect of Iowa's history. There were originally 77 rooms with only 23 of them with indoor plumbing! The rooms are well-appointed and reasonably priced at an average of $200. I had no idea this gem existed so close to home!

All staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back!
