I haven't frequented a laundromat in many years, but a broken dryer sent me on a desperate search for a place to clean my family's quickly accumulating (and stinky) laundry. I had passed this place on my way to drop my daughter at gymnastics and it seemed convenient. My first impression at walking in the door was how bright and clean it was. Everything looks well maintained and the machines are high quality. I must have looked like a deer in the headlights as I stood at the machine to purchase a laundry card. One of the very friendly staff members was right there to help me purchase a card and figure out how much to load based on what I needed to wash. She also helped me figure out the best machines for the amount of laundry I had. As I sit here, another staff member has been cleaning and wiping down machines. I was absolutely dreading coming to the laundromat this morning, but if I hadn't purchased a new washer and dryer yesterday, I would have totally been okay delaying my purchase for a couple weeks to bring my laundry here. read more

Amazed is an understatement. This is my first time visiting amy's laundry- just know it will not be my last. The whole place is absolutely spotless- so clean and well maintained. The staff is so friendly and helpful! I love how you get a card to load onto for the machines so you can avoid lugging quarters around everywhere. Super affordable in comparison to other laundry mats i've visited in the past- the machines all work and my laundry smelled amazing coming out of every single one! I decided to try Amy's Laundry for the first time and used their pick-up service. After paying $75 for just 2 loads (30 lbs in total including 3 towels and 1 bear) , I got my items back with bleeding on a few pieces of clothing. Instead of taking accountability, I received a "cute" note saying it looked like something new was in my laundry. This was my first time using the service, so I have no idea what that could've been. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last time using Amy's Laundry. Just wished a little attention was given and the whole bag wasn't dumped into one wash. read more

I have been using Amy's Laundry since 2020. Four years now. I bring my laundry in, they clean it, hang my nice clothes on hangers and fold the rest. I do this every two weeks. The staff are quite pleasant, helpful, and kind. The laundry building is always clean and in working order. They carefully handle some of my special needs, like my Lularoe tops that cannot be put in the dryer. I usually run costs wise $28-52 depending on if I need blankets or a large winter coat washed. It is so nice not to worry about doing my own laundry. All I have to do is hang up some of it and put the rest away in the drawers. They usually have my clothes 9-24 hours. I've seen the massive renovation, huge amounts of love, and incredible attention to detail that Amy has done to make this laundromat into more than just that. The staff always has a smile on their face, is willing to help & consistently send me the cleanest rags I've ever had. I am very disappointed in the customer service that I have received. The dryer did not dry my items throughly, and I have used the same amount of quarters prior to this incident, and the towels were dry completely. I brought this issue to the worker, who seems to have been the owner, and she was extremely unprofessional. She yelled at me and was very disrespectful. She approached me unprovoked and told me to leave and bring my items somewhere else. I will no longer be using this service, and I am ashamed that such poor customer service exists in Westminster. The machines were only checked ONE time on the first occasion when I brought the attention to the owner. I came back a week after and that's when the owner approached me, unprovoked, and said, "I'm not going through this again with you. You can take your money and go somewhere else". I was only there one time after I realized the machines were not working effectively as they had been for the 2 years I have been coming to this laundry mat to dry. I am not sure who else has had this issue to have been, "checked many times" or "told many times". But I was disrespected when I brought my towels in the first time and explained my case, and disrespected when I brought my towels in before I got a chance to use a dryer. I felt like this laundromat offered great service; during the craziness of the last school year my family had laundry piled up like nobody's business! One very busy staff member at Amy's handled 6 loads for me (plus a king size comforter) over the course of two trips in a 3-day span. My laundry was weighed, washed & dried... and folded better than even my MIL could do. And that's a high bar to clear! My only complaint is with the parking lot entry space, since everything's pretty close together (but being in town I should be grateful a lot even exists)... but there's not a lot of room to drag your stuff in and out. In hindsight I should have taken my teenage son to help schlep all of our laundry inside and then back out again. I know they do have a delivery service but at that point I was spending enough money on 6+ loads. I thought the prices were reasonable. I felt bad for the person who assisted me with all of that because she was a one-woman show; she could've used an extra set of hands. My visit was at the beginning of the summer. If I'd had the extra time that particular week, I would've used their self-serve machines; the interior of Amy's in Westminster was clean, bright, and nice enough to do chores among a pleasant group of strangers. read more

I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. Owner can't handle customer issues. Customer service at this establishment is horrific. Dropped off clothes to be washed dried and folded. I was charged $264. My items were returned still dirty and wet. Folded tightly in bags that were stapled shut. When I got home and realized everything needed to be redone I called Amy's. Except ALL calls go to a customer service center. I was hoping we could work it out and I could just bring my stuff back. But it took 4 days for Amy to call me back. When she did I was at work so left a message. A message saying she had no idea who I was and that there was no tickets in the system with my information and to call back if I wanted pricing. I called back. Left another call back request. She finally texted me 3 days later saying her manager would call me on Labor day to work something out. I said at this point the only thing that can be worked out is a refund. I was at the laundromat re washing all of the clothes. She said she'd rather re wash my clothes. I said I was already doing it. She agreed to refund me a portion of the money. Then proceeding to block my phone number from calling her cell and the company. Then blocked me on fb. She sent me $85 on venmo but still owes me $180 per our agreement. Refusing to pay. I tried to handle this nicely and give her and her company the benefit of the doubt but her customer service is horrific. read more

**REVISED: Back in 2018 I had a horrible experience with the old owners and workers. I was pregnant and felt like I was personally scolded for taking too long. Fast forward to this year, I hear a new owner has taken over. I give it another try because the location is so convenient for me. I must say the place has changed 200% it is clean, the ladies who work there are lovely!! There are paper towels for the sink in the back finally. I personally love the drop off services, with a 1 year old its much easier. I personally spoke with Amy about how impressed I was! Well the Main Street Laundry is under new management and the place is super clean! Amy the new owner is so friendly and clearly understands that customer service is key. If you have your own washer and dryer consider occasionally taking but items there and save your washer at home and get those bulky things washed and dried in less than an hour. Our washing machine broke the day before family was visiting so we looked up Amy's. The customer service was amazing as I've never been here and I got the full tour of the place. The young lady working there didn't leave our side until we understood everything about the place. The place is very clean and modern and would definitely use this place again. read more
