Great place for a quick manicure. Located in a strip mall, the salon is quite visible & appealing to the eye. I found the location to be clean. Free of clutter. No odd smells; an all around pleasant environment. The technician that did my Mani was very patient and kind. She even paid attention to my pattern of color choices. One color for each finger on my hand; each finger on each both hands have the same color. The process was quick and I was in and out in a jiffy. I love STICK & MOVE capers. :) I was charged extra for the different color polishes, although it's the same amount of polish being used; no matter if I paint two pink and two yellow... At the end of the day, two thumbs & 8 fingers are being painted. But no time to argue the difference, I just paid it and made note. read more

I dont care how good of a job they may do customer service is the best job a business can have and Amy Nails is not the place. This place needs to be shut down. Amy as an owner has no response to how her employees talk to customers. The short male person who comes in usually early is one of the most rudest disrespectful workers I've seen in this line of work. He cursed at me repeatedly, let me know he doesnt care about me as a customer and Amy sat her ass right there and heard everything and didnt do nothing. The hell with Amy nails and the entire staff . Fuck Amy Nails . Boycott this place because it doesnt deserve the word business. read more

$33 for a manicure is a lot! Especially for a gel manicure which is less work than a regular. They charge an extra dollar (minimum) when you want two different colors which doesn't make any sense since you're still using the same amount of nail polish and not requiring any extra work. I kind of want to give it two stars because the hand "massage" was like 30sec on each hand, was rushed (she did it while standing), and thus it sucked. I would only return out of convenience because they stay open later than most other nail salons in the area & several of the employees were friendly. read more

I can't believe I stayed for this pedicure. It was sweltering, the only payment accepted that day due to "technical issues" was cash or check. The way they "clean" the foot spa was with spray Lysol, and there was someone else's toenail in my foot bath. Not to mention flies, the massage chairs are broken, and the incessant questions from the staff. Questionable sterilization. I was the first one there so no wait and the quality of work was very professional and very good... she took her time on my nails (which are mine not fake) and did such a good job and threw in some bling...I also got a pedicure that so awesome I almost fell asleep... The worst customer service!!! When asked what shape I was getting the man told me what he was going to do instead of honoring my request. I was not asked if I wanted my nails cut down, he just picked up the finger nail clipper and cut. I informed him I did not want my nails cut, he diss regarded. After cutting one nail off, I told him do not cut the others and man got mad and told me get out. Why would I let you do what you want instead of honoring the PAYING Customer! Horrible service. I rarely have gel manicures removed without any damage to my nails and the woman did an excellent job of removing my prior mani, being careful to not damage my nails and keep them strong. He did not take his time, the gel application was not smooth and my cuticles were sore after he finished. Overall I was not so pleased with the finished product. Staff is very rude and loud so it's definitely not a place you would go to relax. i asked to get my nails trimmed shorter 3 times and when i asked i was told "Hold on, don't worry we will go shorter" like?!?! dont tell me to hold on!... my nails were still longer than what i liked. i walked out of here with several crooked nails and my cuticles bleeding!! not that good of a job for the price of $55 will not be going back! read more

Very good experience. The lady was very nice over the phone (which I have found to be a rare occurrence) and equally nice in person. The atmosphere was easy going, not awkward. She actually spent time making sure my nails looked good. I could tell that she cared, not sloppy at all. Overall I'm very happy and I got exactly what I asked for. I had my nails done here by the man who works there. I got a gel manicure which was rushed through and was the worst manicure I've ever gotten in my life. The man was very rude, he asked me several times if the color I chose was something I really wanted because he thought a lighter color would look better. *cue eye roll* Then, he insulted me by talking about how short my nails were. I work in a medical field where its very necessary to keep my nails short. He said, the color I chose would look better on long nails and that I should grow them out or get tips added (I told him I couldn't because of my profession, but he still kept going on and on about it). *rolls eyes again* Overall it was an awful experience and I will NOT be going back. I came into Amy's Nails this afternoon on a whim because it is on my way home from work and I wanted a gel manicure. My nails were looking so pretty- long and rounded- all I wanted was a simple American manicure with gel polish. I really didn't even need the manicure because I had just done all that at home. After telling them 4 times I wanted AMERICAN not French and one of them yelling at the other in Vietnamese, we finally established what I wanted. Next the lady asks me if I wanted my nails trimmed down and I said "No I like the length and the shape, maybe just even them up a little bit". So she files my little finger and shows me so I said it was ok. At this point I had assumed she took note of the current state of my nails and would follow suit with her filing. Even though she was using the roughest file, I trusted that she knew what she was doing. I couldn't see my nails until she was finished and let go of my hand and they were horrible! They went from rounded to squared off to crooked to jacked up. I sat there quietly while she stuffed my hand in a plastic bag and placed it inside a heating pocket. I finally couldn't stand it anymore so I pulled out my hand and told her I wasn't happy with the shape. She said she'd fix it and went back to sawing at my other hand with that file. I kept trying to explain to her that I liked the way my nails looked when I came in and that they didn't need to be reshaped. She was rounding off the nails on my other hand, but they were so crooked I just told her to stop. I asked how much for the cuticle trim so I could just get out of there before any more damage was done. She was going to charge me $15 for hacking my nails and trimming cuticles! When I questioned her she said "Ok $10". So the other lady by now has piped up and they're going back and forth at each other and somehow it is now MY fault that my nails look so horrible because I told her the little finger looked ok. I will never again step foot in that nail shop. I was so mad I ended up chewing off my remaining fingernails in a fit of rage. I'm pissed. read more

Pricing I get my nails done once a week and their prices are so really affordable. Plus, there is always a discount for getting accessories. Nail Technician My favorite nail technician is Lynn. She is very meticulous about her work. She does my nails so good I once waited 30 mins or so just to have her service me. Plus, she's nice, attentive, and gentle.
