She helps select dresses based off my body's style and the type of dresses I prefer wearing. They selection, addresses or fabulous, so many to choose. Bad does not begin to describe the experience. Before listing issues, please note this store loved to say "you ordered the dress in that size." Says the people who are the 'experts' and are taking the measurements and screw up 5 of 6 of the wedding party's dresses... Issue 1: Bride was ordered the wrong size dress. Consultant ordered her the dress she TRIED ON versus the size she was measure for. Bride went to her first fitting, the gown would not even zip up. Bride was given the option to reorder and would likely get her dress a mere 2 weeks before wedding. (note: dress was ordered back in October, fitting was middle of March). Store is able to get her the size she needs up to for the cost of the dress being too long. This bride's expected price for full alterations is $1000. $1000!!! What!!?? 2. my bridesmaid dress is huge. You can see my bra from the side and nearly the full cup from the front. I'm having to pay at least $60 to fix this problem. 3. junior bridesmaid is a size 0 at 14yrs old. She was ordered a size 8 dress. I'm a size 6 and was ordered a size 8 too. 0 =/= 6. Poor girl. I hope her dress can be fixed. 4. One bridesmaids' dress will not zip. It zips part of the way. A new back will have to be made for her. 5. Other bridesmaid's dress is also too big up top. We anticipated some alterations, but this is beyond ridiculous. The attitude of this place was less than satisfactory. You don't just take people's money and give them crap in return. OH and the bride's veil was supposed to be in with her dress. It wasn't. Someone looked for her veil the day she went to pick up the dress and informed her it was on back order. Oh, how nice. Supposedly no bridesmaid dresses can be ordered in other sizes to fix this problem. read more

Great bridal (& formal) boutique. The salespeople are very helpful & all have good personalities. They do not do alterations but will offer recommendations. The older lady that they recommend for bridal alterations (Ms. Dorthy- Out of LaGrange) is so sweet, reasonably priced, & does an awesome job. However - the woman they recommend for bridesmaids & other formal alterations (Out of Sharpsburg/Newnan Area) is unfriendly, way over priced, & charged my MOH extra after failing to take enough material from her dress.. Plus, the house she works out of is unkept & full of large dogs. Truthfully, we were worried about leaving the dress. Anyway - An Affair To Remember, great shop! read more
