We arrived at 4pm and several vendors were packing up. I remember going to the Midway Swap Meat in Kent at the old Drive in. The place the inspired the Sir Mix A lot song, "Swap Meet Louie". It was 2-3x the size with an indoor area, so my expectation for this place was the same. What I saw was a lot of tools. Mostly used, but some new. A little bit of clothing and a lot of collectables like sports card, Pokémon and matchbox cars. There were also a lot of ethnic food stands and limited produce. For a dollar, you can't complain, but it wasn't worth the long traffic abused ride. I saw a couple things I was interested in and almost bought, then google search showed me I could find them new for less. The two items I did buy, were a great deal. Great place to find gift ideas, just make sure you know the value of what you're buying.

It's better than a lot of other second-hand stores I've been to that overprice literally everything in the place. I saw some items I hadn't seen in a while, and there was ample things to look through, including some old video game accessories I hadn't seen in years! While quaint and has a lot of cool things to see, it's still definitely a second-hand store, and has a bit of a grime feel to it. Probably should keep some hand sanitizer at the ready when done. I didn't find anything that called out enough for me to purchase, so I can't speak to the staff or service there. From what I saw though they appeared friendly. Sort of appreciated the old-school nature of the front desk operations. I might be back, but probably infrequently.

They have a huge selection from multiple different vendors in a rather large store. Staging wasn't perfect but the products that they were carrying were amazing and prices that couldn't be beat. The service was incredible super friendly knowledgeable and just really down to earth. This is summer we will repeat going week after week to see what's new.

The antique market is the usual treasure, give yourself at least an hour to explore all the options. Housewares, outdoor things, and too much to describe. I had just come from the Lake Union Saturday Market and compared to the music, amount of vendors, and food trucks there, SODO was quiet and smaller. This one wraps around the antique shop but there was room for three food trucks and a small strip of vendors. There were a lot of people selling re-thrifted clothes. Looked like there were a few gems but you may need to do some digging around, and at that point I may just do my own thrifting. Of course like with any market there are a few quality things worth coming for. I saw a few hanging crystal decorations with moons and stars and I would love to gift one to my niece. The handmade jewelry selections were super cute and very nice quality. There are some of the same looking stuff throughout vendors though so really walk the tents through before making a purchase.

Next I found some vintage toys that took me back to my childhood. I restrained myself and only got 6 Mattel toddler Barbie dolls for $10. Same guy was selling some Fisher Price, I was tempted, but the condition was just a bit rough and the price was more than I wanted to pay. Walked around some more and saw everything from fresh produce & flowers to dirty tools, candy, shoes & safety vests a plenty. Lots of booths that had vintage items that could have used some cleaning. I'm sure that sales would have been up if they had just put in that extra bit of effort. Lots of trading cards if you are into that type of thing. More then likely they have been cherry picked for anything valuable already. Plenty of items I have seen online from websites like Allyexpress & Temu. For example the turn your finger green in no time rings! I was actually looking for some sterling silver rings. In one of the indoor locations I found a lady named Julie who had a large lovely booth of high quality jewelry. Beautifully displayed. Tons of selection of sterling silver rings! I was so excited. She was so very nice and went out of her way to help me. She had an excellent selection and the prices were really fair. I ended up buying 4 rings and I will return to buy more. Parking is a bit of a nightmare but I eventually found a spot. Has several food trucks. Outside has plenty of plants for sale for cheap, cheaper than regular nursery & garden stores. Items placed in the old garden outside are nicely discolored. It can be used for nostalgic items such as worn-out wooden tables and chairs. The interior of the store is filled with attractive things. I like to put old things in harmony with the present era. It may be good to find something unique and retro. However, some of them are not antique, but they all match the image of the store. It's also a good place for you to look for any gifts.

That could be good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. Like an antique mall, it's one big space divided into smaller stalls, and you can more or less tell where each stall ends. The individual stalls might or might not be organized according to a theme -- some are just piled with random used stuff. One of my favorites was toward the middle of the store and included some mineral specimens, fossils, deer antlers, and jewelry, but the prices were a bit high for me. Some of the stalls do seem to be more antique-focused for collectors. There's one that specializes in novelty cookie jars, and another that has a nice selection of Bakelite bracelets for just $5-10 each. There were some Pyrex pieces too, though overpriced. But many of the areas just seemed packed with used clothes, housewares, kids' toys, and random items. I guess that's the "flea market" part. A lot of it is so cluttered and messy that it's just difficult to look through, though. There's probably some good stuff in here, but it needs to be cleaned up and displayed more nicely to really be fun to shop. It's worth a quick stop if you're already here, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.
