Brand new yoga studio in Minturn. I took a class this morning with Emily and it was great. The studio itself is in an old building with beautiful wood beams and even has a fireplace, which they had going and I found it relaxing. If you want an incredible ambiance for early morning Yoga, this is it! During the winter, there is a beautiful fireplace crackling away in a wide open space with beautiful rafters. The owner - Chelsea - has an incredibly calming voice and energy that makes yoga a spiritual experience. She is also great at detailed instructing. The classes are fun, challenging, and relaxing. Absolutely amazing studio with some of the best instructors in the valley. I've been going here since they opened and would highly recommend it. The studio has a wonderful, warm and homely feel with the fireplace and vaulted ceilings, much unlike other studios in the valley where you feel crammed into a side room, Anahata Yoga did it right! I love the vibe at Anahata Yoga and Wellness. This cozy studio is located on main street in the historic town of Minturn. I love the old wood floor and the giant stone hearth. Every time I take a class, I feel so much gratitude because Chelsea Winters has really built something special. Her classes are always perfect. She is incredibly intuitive, and a skilled teacher. In fact, all of the teachers I have experienced at Anahata have been wonderful. Healing Roots massage has treatment rooms in the back. Eileen has such a great touch. I'm WOWED!! read more

My daughter and I dropped in for a yoga class during our girls' weekend in Vail. Our instructor JP was fantastic! We felt very welcomed and the class was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a weekend of hiking and horseback riding. Love this cozy studio and can't wait to visit again. read more

If you're looking for a week long yoga retreat that rejuvenates, connects you to your self and others and at the same time you get to spend a week relaxing, meditating and exploring in the most beautiful and peaceful places, then this is for you. I just returned from a week in Costa Rica with her. Chelsea is a gifted yoga teacher and each day she taught 2 amazing classes. The classes vary and are both energetic and restorative. She includes teachings in meditation and breath work as well as work-shopping specific asanas. It was amazing to be able to take my yoga practice to the next level, make new lasting friendships with other attendees and to spend time in a magical tropical location that I might not otherwise have ever discovered. Throughout the week she also offered other activities that are optional, like hikes, and eco-tours (we went to Costa Rica). She is highly detailed, organized, and thorough in her planning of every aspect of the trip, from lodging, to food, to the content of each and every class. And on top of it all, she constantly radiates her kind and loving energy to her classes and students. I would highly recommend going on a retreat with her. After being a student of hers since she opened the studio, I couldn't wait to attend a retreat and will be going again as soon as I can! read more

Lovely studio with great energy! The space is perfect - dark wood floors, fireplace and a beautiful vaulted ceiling. Add great classes with knowledge instructors and you have a winner. Bought an home here in Minturn in 2019, one of the "amenities" was a walk-to yoga studio. First and only class, was charged 25 for the class plus 3 for a very slimy stinky mat. I asked if there was a local's pass or a punch card and teacher literally said "no, we don't offer anything like that. I can charge you for five classes in advance at the daily rate and keep that on file". Not a terrific start, I felt like I was on another yoga planet. The teacher then played music, kind of auto-tune country style, and sorry, very grating! I guess if you like that type of music, you'd be happy. The flow was good, but the room smelled sour, like the old wood that it is. Above was a wooden structure just covered in dust and rot. Overall, I'm happy a studio is -here- in my now hometown, just hope it improves! I'm not indigent, but would appreciate a more welcoming "new student" rate, a more mature less "blank" teacher and a more hygienic space. Until then, I'm paying for yoga down the road. read more
