My family and I visit Vail, Colorado every summer, and this year I decided to get a week pass at Revolution Power Yoga--and I'm so glad I did. I took classes with Natasha, and she's incredible. Her classes are challenging in the best way--you leave feeling stronger, more centered, and mentally clear. I especially loved her Power Yoga class; it pushed me in all the right ways. Natasha is not only a fantastic instructor but also a genuinely kind and grounded person. I'm already looking forward to seeing her again next summer! I purchased the 1-week unlimited pass for $79, which was a great value--even though I only made it to three classes because of our busy trip schedule. I'm very selective when it comes to yoga studios, and I would absolutely recommend Revolution Power Yoga to anyone visiting Vail. It's a true gem. read more

If you enjoy cults then this place is for you!!! They follow a style of yoga by Baron Baptiste just a quick Google search of his name shows all the issues with this man. They teach from his book like a preacher having a nice Sunday sermon. They bully and make you feel like you are the problem when they lack accountability and ethics. I paid for ytt for the Avon/glenwood studio when I asked for my money back I was denied and sent lawyer information due to the glenwood studio closing due to bankruptcy. No communication was provided by owners that they were closing, they made it seem like the hour plus drive to the other studio would make up for the sudden closure. In the contract it states that I can get a refund minus $500 they responded back with, that my money is with the glenwood studio even though the majority of the training was in Avon. Seems slightly shady to me. Be cautious. read more

Fantastic! It's has actually started to change me for the better. I joined and found the people to be extremely friendly and very helpful. I had knee surgery two years ago but had a more recent ski crash that left me in need of more rehabilitation. This place has helped me gain more strength but also focus and flexibility. The new (well new to me) studio is really nice! Cubbies, changing rooms, and an airy open yoga room! The classes at Revolution aren't as hot as I would like but after a day of skiing it's a great place to get your flow on and a good stretch. Namaste! read more

We were packed in like sardines. So if your ok with touching the person to your right and to your left several times throughout the class then it won't bother you. I understand you don't want to wear shoes in a yoga studio room. The main lobby is a concrete floor and after I put my shoes on I attempted to walk to the restroom and I was stopped and was asked to remove my shoes. I didn't understand why .... I was not in the yoga room, the bathroom is not in the yoga studio either it's just past the lobby. I would not go back. This is Colorado and the floors are concrete NOT marble! read more

RPY holds a special place in my heart. It is the first place where I was introduced to the power, wonder and beauty that is the Baptiste practice. At my first ever class here (in their old location!) I immediately fell in love with the instructors and the practice - it felt like I finally found something that was missing in my life. While all the teachers are professional, the classes feel formulaic. I have a 3mo pass and one teacher tried to charge me for signing up for a morning class (that I missed) and instead going to the noon. Maybe she gets employee of the month, but it felt insulting. I DO have an unlimited pass? I literally had to inform her, in front of students, that i would -not- accept an additional charge. If that's the "policy", i'd need to see it. Unlimited means unlimited. Way to have an unreasonable teacher blow the yoga buzz. I avoid her classes. WTheck? Other teachers seem nice but they sure come and go! Do they not pay teachers well? I often wonder. Trainees seem to pay a TON for a "training", then rarely teach and leave relatively soon, WHY? Also---- I guess they HAD been following a boring basic baptiste method, but now "opening up" to other styles? The few non-batiste teachers have seemed more experienced than the recent McYogis. Sorry, but teaching/knowing ONE formula is a -start- but we should pay less for teachers who only know one style w less than a yr teaching. Let that be a 1/2price class of sorts? Or a class we can bring a friend to for free. I brought my mom on mother's day and was charged full price plus a mat. Way to NOT help us members feel welcome, IJS. Personally hope they offer daily music heated vinyasa flow that more out of the box. Experienced teachers are both DJs with dance/yoga style that a more advanced student can appreciate. Doing/teaching the SAME type of movement isn't good for the body or brain- everyone advances, it's physiologically/psychologically beneficial. PLEASE let them use this space for more variety! read more

Great power JIP class with a wonderful view of the mountains. I had been recovering from a sinus infection and was finally able to get a class in on our trip. It was rejuvenating, challenging, and fun. Highly recommend. read more

Looking for a well rounded practice... This is the place. I was on vacation looking for a good studio and a friend recommended this one. It was an excellent class. The only complaint I have is that I do not like a heated practice. This classroom felt hot even when I first walked in. I do not think they actively heat the room (since they didn't advertise it) but they didn't air condition the room and for me the heat was close to intolerable. read more

Visiting the area from Houston, I did a very challenging class with Rachel. She's a great teacher. The class was almost full of yogis of all levels. It was a good sweat and I left feeling taller and stronger. I will attend another of her classes while I'm here! read more

Not enough staff and some of them very unfriendly. Very strict about time. After all that of the effort to get a sitter and drive 20 minutes to yoga, I was locked out at 7:16 fir a 7:15 class. There were 3 of us. We knocked and were ignored. I understand leaving life outside the door but life happens and their should be a receptionist to accommodate people 1 minute late. There's also a rush between classes so you can't go In early to relax. It's a bit chaotic. read more

I've been doing yoga on and off for 15 years, but RPY was the first place that it really "clicked" for me. The instructors are all great (ALL of them!), and I leave feeling invigorated after every class. There is the opportunity to push yourself as hard as you want, both mentally and physically, but also to work with your individual issues.
