We had to rent a carpet cleaner and pay out of our own pocket because the carpet was filthy and old. There were several blinds that were broken and I had to literally argue with Chelsea over the phone to get them to come fix them because they did not want to do it. Now a year later, our lease is up and we get an email 9 days before the end of the lease asking what our plan is with our apartment. To sign another year lease, the rent had increased by over 10% and Chelsea said that we had to let her know the same day what our decision was. I said that they had to give us 30 days notice before increasing the rent and that we would let them know by the end of our lease date. I'm not sure if it's because of incompetence or greed, but I can confidently say that they do not care about their tenants and you are better off working with someone else.
