I know how difficult it can be to learn a new clients hair but Timothy did an AWESOME job. He was very professional, and we had multiple great conversations. Terrible quality and communication. Rotating cast of barbers. Owner will gaslight you when you leave a negative review - like you were told false information by someone on the phone or they ignored your scheduled appointment. Plus their barbers STEAL from you. When you go to pay they'll put your credit card in and choose their tip amount. The owner thinks this is 'fantastic' and employees who steal from customers are 'great.' Choose a different barbershop. Paid for my husband to have a beard trim and a cleanup on his hair (slight trim). Barber was late. He told the barber what he wanted, showed pictures said "I want to keep the length and volume". Next thing you know his hair is on top of his head and the barber cut the side of his hair, completely shaved his head in the back. My husband said "I wanted to still be able to put my hair up" - Barbers response "sorry, but it will still look good". Complete OPPOSITE OF HIS REQUEST. This is the 3rd and final time we will go to this shop. Thank you, for completely ruining his hair that he has patiently been growing out. This place is chill. Clean & professional barbershop. Timothy took care of us and faded my son up for back to school. Great music and a nice lounge area to wait in. We had a nice time just chilling after a long weekend. A woman greeted us after waiting a few minutes and offered us water. Very nice. We had to wait 30 min after our booked appointment on line- but I didn't mind much because I enjoyed chillin with my 3 year old in the lounge. We ready some local papers and magazine together and played games with gold fish. My son's hair cut was fresh and so clean. I am happy we found this shop on yelp. I've had my haircut several times now by Ashley and I'm always pleased. I'm a woman who likes really short non-traditional cuts and she nails it. She is always open to trying something new. The shop always has great music and a great vibe. They have complimentery water, tea and beer. You schedule online, which is super convenient. The only negative is they can sometimes be running late and I have to wait. But it's not too bad if you know that's a possibility and can just enjoy a beer or tea. There is street parking and stairs leading up to the shop. They take cards and cash. read more

Trevor was the one cutting my hair and he was a really chill and cool guy, we talked about basketball throughout the whole cut. At the end I loved my hair cut but. As he put my credit card in HE GAVE HIMSELF A $10 DOLLAR TIP WITHOUT ASKING. So I had to pay $55 dollars when I should've paid 45. read more

Pricy. I have been 4 times, each time to a different barber. I have had my hair cut and have had a shave. 2 of of 4 of my barbers were flakey. one of those did a bump of a white powdery substance that was still nose decoration somewhat near the time of my appointment. Seriously. All the cuts and the shave were good. Ambiance is terrific, but just can drop 60-80 for a short haircut that take 30 minutes if I get a shampoo. read more

So I NEVER leave bad reviews, but this place was so ridiculously unprofessional--it's stated prominently on their website that "walk-ins are welcome"--I called to verify just in case and was assured that a walk in would be fine and the wait was usually around 15-20 minutes. My husband arrived to essentially be pushed out the door and told "no availability"--they wouldn't even book him an appointment and told him to "go online and do it himself". After calling back after to figure out what the heck was going on I spoke to someone who "didn't know who I spoke to but they don't really "do" walk-ins"--couldn't be more unhelpful or disinterested. Definitely never going back on principle--this place needs a serious attitude adjustment and organizational overhaul. read more

Let me start by saying I'm genuinely not sure how your business obtained 4 stars, let alone any. My fiancé regular barber is usually extremely booked which results in having to schedule at least 1 week out so we were forced to venture and find a different barber. We've came to Analog before and had a similar awful experience but that was a year or two ago so we were under the impression that the service had to have improved by now. I didn't go with my fiancé to this appointment but when he returned home not only was he beyond unhappy, embarrassed, and disappointed but he had to pay $40 for this butchered "haircut". I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic but $40 for ALL haircuts (kids included) is ridiculous considering the fact that it's $30 for his normal haircut with his regular barber and he literally looks like a movie star after.. this is unacceptable! He didn't catch his name but he did mention he had been supposedly cutting hair for 10 years (couldn't have fooled me). Long story short PLEASE don't waste your time nor money to receive an uneven, not faded, super cuts quality haircut for $40. read more

Came in as a walk in based of yelp reviews and the price of a beard trim. Waited about 15 min then sat with Ivan. Super cool spot with vinyl all over the walls. Easy going and laid back atmosphere. Went back here for my 3rd time recently. The woman cutting my hair snapped when I asked if I can go a little shorter on my sides. I thought she was kidding at first. She told me that she doesn't like to have to do her job twice (although the whole thing felt rushed and awkward) and "that's why she asks in the beginning how I want the cut." I've never in my life felt bad or uncomfortable for asking a hairdresser/barber to tweak my haircut after being asked if I liked it or not- especially when I wanted to go shorter, not an irreversible longer. For over 23 years getting my haircut, I've never had this be an issue before. She then repeatedly, half-heartedly told me she can make the change (most likely after sensing the astounded, confused, and upset energy from the paying customer who just got told they can't get an extra 45 seconds work done on the customers haircut because the employee doesn't want to do it. I never, ever would go out of my way to complain or leave a negative review, but this particular employees behavior was appalling, unpleasant, and most importantly un professional. Stumbled in couple months ago. Seemed like a way cooler place than for the likes of me. I can only wish I were (or ever had been) as relaxed and hip as this place and its charming, witty and slightly edgy crew. However, the spot-on haircut was the best I can recall and Robert is a ninja. He really nailed it. First time ever I DIDN'T do the "new cut cringe": 1. Politely smile. 2. Figure about a week and it'll be good 3. Ponder​ deeply​ how the cut seemed sound, but how the final styling flair could be so unflattering walking out to the car--but fixable next shower. I was visiting Eugene for the week and needed a beard trim and a haircut. After a brief on-line search, I discovered Analog Barbershop. I booked an appointment over the phone with owner, Kristen. The shop, staff, and overall experience exceeded my expectations. This cool, hip shop was super clean. There was excellent music spinning, a nice selection of local IPA beers, and a variety of high-end men's grooming products available for purchase. The staff are exceptionally trained and the pride of local ownership stands out. I'd highly recommend this barbershop to visitors and to all Eugene/Springfield locals if you're up for a new experience and want that custom, high-end yet affordable barbershop experience (WARNING: you won't go back to your old barbershop afterwards).
