My son was in desperate need of a haircut and his roommate recommended this shop to him. What an amazing place for a haircut. Having never set foot in a men's salon, other than those old-timey traditional barber shops. This by far was an amazing experience--from a woman's perspective. First, we were able to make a same day appointment--I called when they opened and got an appointment about an hour later. When you walk in, there's a pool table (I guess to pass the time if you needed to wait), barber chairs on both sides of the shop, each with its own hair basin, the decor included a rolling tool chests, bar stools, each work station had a tabletop tool chest supplies and the walls were decorated with college pendants. The staff was very nice and helpful--even recommended hair product for my husband. The pricing was reasonable, almost the same as I would pay at a my salon back home--however this one was tailored more for a man. The Works came with a the cut, shampoo, hot lather neck shave & massage all for $29. The shop is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you are in need of manscaping, I would definitely come here. You definitely get what you pay for!! read more

The worst haircut I have ever gotten in my life includes some buzz cuts I got as a 9-year-old child. I got this disaster from a person named Leanna. I would go to another barber to get it fixed BUT I don't have enough hair for anyone to fix it. To be clear, I have NEVER written a review of a barber/haircut, but this was SO BAD I had to write this one. Made reservations online for the next available time to get my hair cut. So I went in early to check in and potentially get started earlier but instead of getting my hair cut I get my "place in line" cut by the guy who didn't make a reservation and came in after me. Those kind of things may seem benign but it upsets me to spend time making a reservation to ensure I can get in quicker only to have it waste my time not once but twice. First impression is how clean & swanky the place is definitely a different vibe from other barbers in the area but still looking very much like a barber shop. The service is great! All the staff is friendly and diligent with an eye for detail and the patience to perfect it. They understand men's haircuts better than most and offer a wide variety of options that match the great skill. There's a bonus! They use a shoulder massage vibration machine that completes the crispy clean experience. I was in a rush to get a cut as I passed through town. Only barber around with immediate availability. When I arrived, I was immediately seated. Brittany was super understanding of my situation. She cut quick, but did not rush. She was super calm and had me out the door in 20 mins flat. Not to mention I had a mop on my head coming in and walked out with a clean fade; plus my curly hair has posed challenges to previous barbers. 10/10 would recommend Brittany. read more

i don't know the girls name but my boyfriend just got the worst haircut ever. it was extremely rushed and done poorly, he will already need it cut again next week. as she was cutting his hair it kept getting pulled because she was going so fast. his haircut is usually around 25-30 minutes and she got it done in barely 10. she didn't make sure he even liked it she just practically ran to the register. if you do decide to go here get your haircut by laura, she is who he usually goes to and she does a good job. read more

Called in for an appointment. The lady on the phone asked for my last name. Told her that I didn't want to give my last name but my first name would be ok. Made the appointment and showed up 15minutes early. She then tells me that my last name was required for some made up reason when my turn came. Told her that was not acceptable. I don't appreciate being lied to. Wasted my time. They will never get my business EVER. Dishonesty is something I don't forget, especially when doing business. Went to another barber that was not making me give out my name and was honest and gave me a discount on the haircut. Made an appointment for my boyfriend to get a haircut here and when he came back nothing looked different. His beard looked a little bit lined up and the back of his neck was cleaner but there was absolutely no taper. And I mean none... While he didn't want really anything off the top and instead the sides cleaned up, his hair is very uneven and has a crooked line-up. He even has a little patch of raised hair in the back that sticks up just enough to look like a little mohawk. You can tell the girl who cut his hair used no intuition to make the cut, while more on the low key end, complete. I've cut his hair myself a few times in the past and can get a cleaner taper and lines and I have no prior hair experience. Won't be going back. This place is terrible! The worse place to get your hair cut in Eugene! I called hours before and made an appointment. When I got there the front desk woman looked as if I never made an appointment. After waiting in my car like I was ask on an extremely hot day for about 30 min I walked back in to see if they were ready yet. Still nothing. Needless to say I canceled. Firstly, the atmosphere is a great mix of old school barber shop meets man cave garage. You can play pool while you wait, get a free soda, and free popcorn. The barbers are all knowledgeable and i haven't seen a bad head walk out of the place. They always give me the best fade. Made an appt for my 8 year old son. They made us wait 20 min past the appt, and they wouldn't let me to wait with him. No where to sit outside except one bench right in the sun. So I was just sitting there for about an hour. The cuts are hit and miss. If you get the extremely overweight one, just leave, she's terrible. Due to horrible past experiences, I hate getting my haircut, I will put it off as long as humanly possible. This is the only barber I will go to though. I've only been a handful of times, but it's always been great. Amazing staff who know what they are doing. Haircut has always been exactly what I asked for. Never any areas longer than others.
