I was told to bring a warm blanket and pillow and to wear socks. When I arrived I set up my space alongside the other participants. Some women brought huge quilts and numerous pillows, they were obviously no Gong Bath rookies and looking for a calming night. After the class was set up Marco explained that he would be playing the Gong and other instruments for about an hour. We were instructed to lay on our backs facing the back of the room in order to gain the most benefits. He played the instruments and I was waiting to be taken into a deeply meditative state... unfortunately that never happened for me. I noticed most participants were sleeping but I don't think sleeping equals meditating. I honestly do not think I would do this again. I do not believe there is a huge difference from listening to a gong live or on a cd. For me, it had the same effect. This morning, I drove half an hour to the location and waited in the lobby behind a locked door for 40 minutes -- during which I repeatedly called, texted, and even chatted with ClassPass to figure out what was going on. I lightly knocked on the door as well. Finally, at 11:40 AM, someone exited to walk out another client. I explained that I had been waiting for my 11 AM appointment and was very frustrated. She informed me that all the massage therapists were busy and she couldn't help me. Confused, I double-checked my ClassPass app and confirmed that I had the correct date and time. I ended up leaving, frustrated and definitely not relaxed, for another half-hour drive home. Around the same time I left, at 11:40 AM, I received a text saying they had double-booked me and had sent an email through ClassPass -- an email I never received. Again, I had called midday Friday to confirm and left my number, but no one followed up. They did not cancel my appointment on the app. Finally, around 4 PM, I received another text saying that ClassPass had reimbursed my points and that there was nothing more they would do. No apology, no accountability -- just a total waste of my time and energy. This business is completely unprofessional. Please do not support behavior like this.

If you have an emergency and someone threatens to bill you in full if you do not come in, do not come in for even 15 minutes of service. I was advised that even if I only received about 15 minutes, she can now bill as services rendered which now triggers another investigation. 2. Someone who cares about your health should do some physical exam before working on you. 3. Read receipts are really open receipts. If you scroll through your phone or email, do not let anyone try to use that against you as I saw in another review. Emergencies can happen to anyone and had I seen how others were treated, I would not have booked. I also plan to take action for the injuries I sustained which I think were preventable.
