Pastor Trevor, who founded the church, truly gives his heart and soul to the ministry. His sermons are engaging, insightful, and often include great comedic moments. Additionally, the musicians and singers are exceptionally talented. I encourage you to join us at Champion Church. The congregation is incredibly welcoming and will make you feel right at home. I definitely think the pastor is worth coming to listen to; I've been in churches my whole life and his approach to the Bible leans heavily on the application to our lives today, so you leave with a feeling that you've learned something that helps your journey of faith. It's a pretty cathedral with lots of history. I especially loved the wooden beams on the ceiling, it reminded me more of Dutch architecture than Spanish. One of the odd quirks of this particular cathedral is that you exit through a gift shop, which kind of threw me off and didn't feel genuine. Overall, if you're interested in architecture and history, this is an okay stop while exploring that city but definitely not a must.

This is one of the first churches I have ever reviewed on yelp; but, I must tell you the odds are stacked in the church's favor that it's going to be close to a five star score. Also, St. Augustine has quite a few very historic churches, parishes, shrines, and religious destinations so you can almost make a full day of visiting these sites. We found the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine to be absolutely amazing, cool, and inspiring. Don't forget to pick up something from the Gift Shop as you depart or make a donation.

Rich has recently transitioned home to His Heavenly Father. Our time here over the last month has been meaningful. The Father and Son who shepherd Family Church are rooted in the Word of God! The praise team usher the congregation into the spirit week after week. The entire church is engaged and singing along with each song. My grandsons actually look forward to attending services on Sunday. This is what any parent or grandparent looks forward to hearing from their kids. They're learning about the Bible and Jesus. When I asked them, what they learned today, they can explain and express themselves. Hallelujah The alter call is genuine and a sincere pull on the heart to get it right for yourself with the Lord. We are not members of Family Church. We're still seeking a spiritual home. I felt lead to share that attending Family Church over the last month has been a welcoming experience for me and my family.

Beautiful church with so much character with the stained glass windows. Service promptly started at 11:15. Beautiful music and worship service. I loved the traditional elements and their emphasis on sacraments. The pastor was a great communicator and had a good sense of humor which I loved! The only thing it lacked was diversity, but I enjoyed my time there and felt welcome.

The pumpkin patch generally opens the first full weekend of October, and sells pumpkins of all shapes and sizes 11 AM to 7 PM daily. I have family in the area and always make an effort to visit the patch as early as possible in the season because what you see is what you get! They tend to run out of inventory before Halloween day. The historic church building is a beautiful ivory-colored structure, and it's such a beautiful sight to see it surrounded by bright orange pumpkins each fall. Visiting the pumpkin patch is definitely one of my favorite holiday traditions. The folks who operate the patch are friendly, appreciative, and incredibly helpful. If you're open to a less than traditional visit to a pumpkin patch, I'd highly suggest visiting First United Methodist Church.
